This thing is a beast. Small, compact, powerful and great features. The clutch mechanism feels great, nice metal chuck, work light is handy and bright, and it has a hammer feature. And the 805 hammer version was less expensive than the 800 non hammer.

Great drill!!
My husband literally only buys battery powered tools and they are always DeWALT brand. We take this drill with us on long distance road trips just incase. The charge speed and battery life on these things are amazing. Great drill power despite the battery. Gives you great ability and function to get your tires off with ease and on the go!

This is a upgrade to the previous dewalt I'm used too the light is rotating that it runs so smooth lightweight yet powerful the batter life is a upgrade this is ease of use the build quality I'm loving it

Happy with purchase!
I was surprised that the hammer drill didn't need a handle to 'guide' the drill. The hammer drill is lightweight yet I was able to go through a 3inch paver and cement block without any issues. For small projects this will work great. I'm very happy with the purchase. The item came without a manual and any Dewalt paperwork. Dewalt drills come with 3yr limited and 1yr service warranty.

Excellent product
A replacement for my previous conventional DeWalt drill (which is still alive, albeit showing signs of its age,12 years later). This version is a hammerdrill. This is a work tool & so far it has performed admirably. Way faster & quite a bit more powerful than its ancestor. I'm holding out on that 5th star until I see how long lived it is (I wouldn't recommend holding your breath).I received the drill within a few days...good service, good price from this provider. Get you one.
