cheap and the strongest ive had but this tastes like garbage however all kava tastes like garbage
Definitely peppery in taste. Gets more than oily than I would've ever expected. The color of the kava is a darker hue than what I've ever seen from past kavas I've had (All Vanuatu-based), which made me oddly excited. It has a slightly slower on-set compared to everything else which hits me like a van, but this one hits me like an 18-wheeler once it's been about 5 minutes after taking the first shell! I genuinely cannot walk around without stumbling after 3 shells worth of this stuff—that's if I even care to have anymore after 2 shells which is definitely more than satisfying for me.Feels absolutely great. It's definitely more on the heavier side, but there's a lot of heady action going on too. Overall, it's well-rounded, at least to my liking.Quick shipping & delivery and the most affordable Vanuatu-based batch of kava I've ever had. The convenience of this product is absolutely unmatched. This ECLIPSES Bula Kava House's Nambawan strain, which is their strongest kava by far. It also goes completely over where Nakamal @ Home's Stone Kava would lay at for me. Any strain I've ever had, Fiji Vanua Kava's "Kava Vanuatu" strain just knocks it out of the water in more than ways one.The taste, albeit awful, is more bearable than anything else I've had so far, which is strange, but definitely welcoming. In terms of pain relief, I literally cannot feel a thing nor care about it while off it. It's effective for just about any use I can think of.The sizing (for me was the 1lb/1000g batch) is definitely perfect, especially for it's pricing. I'm a big-time kava drinker, so this would last me a good month and some change before I decide to get the next batch.Overall, this is the best product you could ever get if you're looking for a super-strong, yet affordable & convenient kava. It really can't get better than this! I'm on my second ever batch of this stuff, and I believe that I would stay a consistent customer for many months—or even years to come!// EDIT - 3/27/2025:The taste is definitely still awful and plugging my nose while drinking has slowly begun to fade in effectiveness over the course of time of me abusing this method to consume kava. So, against my own will in a way, I've started to grow used to the taste and the OVERTLY LETHAL aftertaste so now it isn't that bad anymore. Despite this, however, it still makes me fold up off the memory of how garbage this tastes, so that's a win for kava-related PTSD. Just ordered my 4th bag!No joke on the nose-plug method though. I have no idea how my body did that, but now I taste absolutely anything even with a plugged or stuffed nose. It does not matter the kava will win outright Jesus Christ

This stuff is great!
I used to drink kava a lot about 10 years ago. I never remembered it being this strong and I used to buy the strongest stuff I could find. There seems to be a trick to it though. Definitely drink it on an empty stomach. Also add some oil of some kind to the mix. I use mct oil and put it in a blender with the kava in water that's about 115 degrees. I also take a hemp oil pill about 15 mins before drinking the kava. I blend it for a couple minutes and then pour it into a bag over a large bowl. Probably use about 16oz of water. I squeeze the bag dry and then let it resoak in the bowl for a good half hour and also place it in the freezer to cool down during that half hour. Then I strain the bag again and pour the stuff in the bowl into a large cup with a few ice cubes. Forgot to mention i also put a small amount of rumm, like half an oz at most in the blender. Only a very small amount to help extract the kavalactones. The mct oil helps the extraction process as well since kava is fat soluble which is why I take a hemp oil capsule before drinking the kava. You can also use olive oil or coconut oil. Mct oil is basically refined coconut oil. I drink the kava within 15 minutes from first sip to last sip. This seems to work pretty well. I've tried plenty of other methods but this way has given the best results. I would take it at least 3 hours after eating. Unless you've had a big meal then more like 4-5 hours. The biggest contributer to lack of effects is having food in your stomach. The 2nd would be from using water that's too cold or too hot. The sweet spot seems to be around 110 to 130 degrees F. 3rd would be adding some kind of oil. Any kind of cooking oil will work. Use at least a tablespoon worth. As far as the product goes, taste isn't horrible but definitely not great. Kind of what you would expect from kava. The price isn't horrible compared to most vendors, I'd say a little on the low side for this high of a level of quality. To make it taste better I add some cold brew coffee. I heat up the cold brew and add about 6oz to the mix while it's in the bowl soaking (Yes cold brew tastes better than hot brewed even if you warm it up). Hot brew also works though. Decaf seems to work better since caffeine kind of midigates the effects. Then I put some vanilla caramel creme sugar free syrup in there. I think it's important to not add any flavorings that contain carbohydrates. It seems to work better if the body is more focused on burning fat for an energy source rather than carbs. Probably because kava is fat soluble. But anyway, if you try this stuff and are wondering why it isn't working, I'd recommend trying this method. I've had a fair amount of experience with this stuff and this is by far the best results I've ever had with it. Definitely worth a try

Good kava.
All Fiji Vanua Kava is good stuff. This is no different. Hits me hard up front but heavy after. Vanuatu is a heavy kava so keep this in mind.

best kava I have gotten so far
Overall Score: 9/10I have tried a number of kava products, this is the first one I tried from Fiji Vanua, and I am very impressed just off the first cup, this kava is very sedative and strong compared to other kava products, its stronger then all other kava products I have found, its a lot stronger then the capsules even when I took a lot more then the recommended dose of the capsules, I will say tho this kava is less mood lifting then most kava products, its more sedative, but this is exactly what I bought it for so I am very happy with it, it helps a lot with anxiety and restlessnesshonestly I don't find much difference in the taste of the kava drink between brands, it all just tastes bitter and it numbs your mouth heavily and has even more bitter after taste and I cant cover it up with milk or sugar but they do help, sometimes I sip it over a long time and then once its like half way full I just fill it up with water again to dilute it and add some more milk and sugar, hopefully this info helps someone because I really wish I knew this stuff when I first bought kava powderI also want to note that this was only 11 dollars more expensive then the other kava powder I have bought in the past, and it was alot better, so I would say its very worth it, this is the highest quality kava product I have gotten
