Excellent RPi Case for RPi 2,3 Projects
I bought this case to protect my RPi 3 board. I absolutely love the design look of this case. I did not have any difficulty putting the case together. The top and bottom pieces had protective covers to peel off but they came off quite easily. I did have a slight issue where layers 5 and 6 where broken during the shipping process. It was discovered that poor placement of the included power supply shifting during shipping caused these smaller pieces of the case build to snap off. I contacted customer service for Smarza and they went well above and beyond helping me replace the broken parts by sending an entire replacement unit, with additional heat sinks and fan.I would highly recommend this product not just because of the excellent customer service, but also because it is a high quality build that properly and safely secures a RPi 2 or 3 board. The included power supply, heat sinks and fan only further add to the value of this RPi case kit.

Sleek and Good
Pros:-case comes with a power cable with an on/off button (which is important because the Pi does not have one)-case fits perfectly and the fan is just the right size for any over-clocks I want to run that do not completely crash the system.-they changed the design so you only have to peel the protective layer off the top and bottom layers (which is great because it is absolutely horrible to remove)-design looks sleek and does not take up too much foot-space like other cases-design allows airflow but it does not get too dusty inside-power supply provides more than required which is convenient for overclockingCons:-it can take a while to put together your first time, but once you get the knack of it is relatively simple to take it apart and put it back togetherOverall: I bought it to make a Retropie as a Christmas gift for my mom and she loves it. Her friends and her actually played it at a new years party this year.

Great Cooling Case With Added Features!
Amazing case for the price! Everything was packaged neatly and wrapped in bubble wrap. The plastic housing seems to be durable enough, and the nylon screws hold things together well. Only real difficult part was getting the protective film off (try to go at the edge with your finger and rub it a bit), but the overall assembly was simple with the given instructions. The fan runs really quietly even at the 5V speed (haven't tried 3V), so I wouldn't worry about noise issues... will update if the fan breaks anytime soon as I'm leaving it on permanently for pi-hole. The added power switch cable works well too, and the singular button press requires a bit of force in order to turn it on/off so no worries on accidental resets. The included heatsinks are good quality, although the one for the bottom chip is a tad bit bigger than the actual chip itself so just be aware of that.As to whether it keeps the temperature of my Raspberry Pi 3 down... it was running at 118-120F prior to this case (heatsinks on all chips with thermal glue) and now it's running at 80-86F. I'd say that it's doing a great job :)

Protect your Pi...and look good doing it
One of the challenges of using a Raspberry Pi is its vulnerability to the elements. Static charge, excess heat, a stray screwdriver head, or a falling roll of 3D printing filament are all potential hazards for the way these boards get used. This is why it is important to get a decent case for your Pi. And the Smraza layer case does a great job! With a couple tweaks, this case could be perfect. The best part about the Smraza layer cases is the simplicity of its design. If you need a sturdy case which can hold your Pi without the use of screws or clips, this is a great case. Some other cases which us clips end up cracking the case or the board if you don't set them just right. This one, because of the layer design, makes it idiot-proof to get the board in the right spot easily. One caveat: put the top heat sinks on after the first layer which covers the board. The small heat sink on the top can get in the way of the case assembly if it isn't correctly placed.Another great part of this case kit is the power cable. The on/off switch is extremely helpful for shutting down and powering up without having to push against the board every time. The only thing they could change is to make a toggle switch rather than a single button switch. If you barely push that button, the power will cut and then immediately come back on. A toggle switch would solve this.Asthetically, the case it amazing! The design is sleak but still feels like a maker case with the screws pushing through the layers. The all-black is a nice touch with the black heat sinks. And the fan is SUPER quiet! I can barely even tell it's running! The access ports are also very well done. On some Pi cases the SD card port is difficult to access. But this case makes accessing the Pi easy as...pie. (Sorry, had to put that in somewhere.) The only thing I'm going to change is to switch out the plastic screws/nuts with metal ones to make it feel a bit more sturdy.Overall, this case is one of the best I've seen for the Pi 3 B. With a couple tweaks it could be perfect.

Wow this is great
This little case is great. I like that it comes with a power supply as well. It is a really well designed product. I had no issues assembling the case and they have a great little manual that shows how to assemble it, if you mix up the pieces. The screws are also plastic, so you don't want to use tools to tighten them down. A good finger tightness is plenty, or you will destroy the screw. I do wish there was a way that I could hook up the fan and use all the header pins with a ribbon cable connection, but that really is up to me to figure out. everything fit together really well and securely. My pi is going to be moved around a lot and this case will certainly protect it.

Awesome product and customer seevice!!!
First of all before I even received the case in the mail the company sent me an email letting me k ow there maybe be a mistake in the instructions for putting it all together and sent a video to watch. My instructions were the correct ones that I needed. The case it's self is great quailty. The fan is super quiet, heat sinks fit perfectly.Awesome product at an awesome price!!!
