Review of Yale 3109A 1) Quality: the quality of the material and the finish is higher than Philips, but not higher than Samsung. The price seems to be pro rated to the quality, and not the options. 2) Options: from an options perspective, its a ridiculous product. For the same price, Philips is offering fingerprint + phone access + wifi access. If you want to get all these options from Yale you will have to pay another extra 1000 aed. 3) Free installation: the free installation is a major plus. Other brands are not providing it at all and they are so obsessed with charging installation fees. Its as if they’re making the main profit on the installation and not on the product. BUT BE CAREFUL: the free installation applies only if you buy the product in the country where you are willing to install. I bought the product on amazon.ae, but from a seller in Turkey. Free installation didn't apply and I had to pay 400 aed. Conclusion: I have now installed and am settled with the product. If I were to make this decision all over again, I would buy the Philips Easykey DDL7300 Smart Lock and pay for installation. The quality and finish is a bit less, but overall its a better bargain.
