Quite pricey

Great product
I watched motivational doc on YouTube and he recommended pine nut oil as a carrier for oil of oregano drops (I use Zane’s) and this gets two great products in one go 😃

Tiny bottle and mild flavour...
I’d not tried pine nut oil before but as someone who enjoys a sprinkling of pine nuts on a good pesto pasta salad, I thought I’d give the oil a try.Unsure on whether pine nut oil should be exposed to high temperatures in cooking so I played it safe and used the pine nut oil in place of olive oil to make dip, salad dressing and for drizzling. I could definitely notice the difference in the flavour (compared to olive oil) but it’s quite a mild-tasting oil and not quite the creamy taste of pine nuts I was expecting. This was my first encounter with the oil though so I can’t comment on what it should taste like but I'd tried pine nut butter previously and the oil has a familiar sort of aroma for me. I do think this oil is good quality too: it’s raw, unrefined and cold-pressed to persevere flavour and nutrients - and it tasted fresh.Lots of reported health benefits associated with pine nut oil so I know it’s sometimes sold as a food supplement to be taken daily, a teaspoon at a time. I can’t see myself using it that way but it works for salad dressing, drizzling etc so I’ll continue to treat it as I would other gourmet oils. It’s not premium packaging/branding though, despite the product’s rarity and premium price - and it comes in a plastic bottle; a glass bottle would surely have been better to protect freshness and integrity of the oil?I also think it would be helpful if the brand had put some information about the oil on the packaging for suggestions on how it can be used, its suitability for cooking, applying to the skin etc. A decent product as far as I can evaluate but one that I’m very unlikely to get again mainly because it’s really expensive for such a small bottle and doesn't add much in the way of flavour; pine nuts and pine nut butter are nutritious in themselves and are both really versatile, tastier and so much more satisfying to eat.

Arrived quickly and is taseless and odorless
So I use this is my cooking as I am on a horemone diet, its really good as I can put my doesage in and its does not affect the taste small of the cooking, as anyone knows more people on such diets also have to add turmeric which is quiet a bit stronger, so this is not so much of a problem.

What should it smell like?
I got this oil and I'm not sure it's OK. It smells rancid.
