I paired this mount with the Amcrest IP5M-T1179EW-AI-V3 camera, and the installation was absolutely flawless! I wanted to avoid cutting into my drop ceiling tiles, so I opted for this wall mount instead—and I’m so glad I did. When this here Amcrest mount bracket arrived I was surprised to find it was made of metal. It says so in the product description, I just assumed at this price it would be plastic. It sure is built nice, and the white powder coat finish complements the garage door.

I bought this mount for my Amcrest 5MP UltraHD Outdoor Security IP Turret PoE Camera (IP5M-T1179EW-28MM) and it was a perfect fit. The mount appears to be heavy duty and can be secured to the baseplate with an allen wrench set screw. The bracket that attaches to the wall is also heavy duty metal with extra holes to allow for different installation needs. I opted to mount it to some wood I had around that I stained and then used a single screw/molly to attach the wooden mount to a brick on my home. The mount allows the whole camera body to pivot so it is easy to adjust and aim the camera exactly where I want it. Highly recommended.I was pleased that there is enough room in the mount housing to store the cable, power cord and large waterproof connector *inside* the mount so the only thing coming out is a single PoE cable. It makes the much less noticeable and gives extra protection from the elements.The mount has a slot on the side for running the ethernet cable, but also a rubber stopper to cover the slot if you run the wires through a whole in the wall.I felt that the price was very reasonable considering how solid the mount is and how it allowed me to make a neat and clean installation on a brick wall.

I was hesitant to buy this mount given the price. It seemed a little much for what you get. But wanting to ensure the best possible waterproof situation and professional look so the neighbors don't complain, I picked one of these up.It mounts easy, looks great, and is super sturdy (it's metal, not plastic). Plus it keeps everything nice and dry (wires tucked inside) so I guess overall it's a win.

Comes complete with hardware, looks like the finish is powder coated metal, nice sleek appearance.Perfect for mounting a dome camera above my garage door.

Had to Drill additional holes to install.
