Super Fast! Great battery life
I purchased this waterproof amphibious race car for my 8 year old and he loves it. The design allows it to be run through water and rough terrain like rocks, concrete, snow, and sand. It flips 290 degrees and completely turns 360 degrees too! There are two color options available. We have blue. The remote control car has 4 wheel drive and operates up to 160 feet distance. We’ve taken this car to our lake house cabin and he loves driving it along the sandy coastline and splashing through the water. As for safety, the car is shock proof and water resistant. It’s body is durable and strong. I highly recommend this as a birthday gift or present for the holidays.

Durable enough - but Amphibious?
Remote seems a bit flimsy and it’s slower than expected. This was purchased as basically a dog toy. Our Yorkie loves to try and rip the tires off RC car wheels and this holds up well. Also great is the flip over and still go action as the dog loves to disable RC cars by flipping them onto their roof's like a turtle on its back! But “amphibious” is a bit much. And even the directions say don’t put it in water! “Water Resistant” would be a better label. We had mild snow yesterday and the car gets stuck pretty easily if not on a smooth surface. My last issue is the apparent inability to track the tires. The car drifts to the left and is difficult to control in a straight line. A good car for the price point, but certainly not a great one.

Suprisingly fun all weather RC car
Have you ever wanted a toy RC car that you could play with almost anywhere? I know I have.Where I live is occasionally snows, rains, or we just have excessive amounts of intense weather and often that fun entertaining outing with your RC cars gets ruined by rain, snow, or other random bouts of weather. Here in Indiana we have a saying "If you don't like the weather, wait five minutes". SO imagine much to my chagrin the idea of going out to play with a new RC car, having a great time, and then suddenly "boom" goes the crack of thunder and seconds later comes the torrential downpour. With most RC cars this spells certain doom. The moment they get wet, it's a death sentence for our little electronic friend. However with this toy, it takes it like a champ. I was able to practically submerge this thing in over 5 feet of water (before it's internal buoyancy of trapped air kicked in) and to my surprise it not only kept driving unscathed by the water. the pressure and the environment, but I even was able to test it in a recent snow storm and was surprised by the level of traction it had and it's resistance to the cold weather. The tire design, not only gives it more traction, but the "swimming" fins on the side of each tire, which is normally used to help the car paddle when in water, also aids in its traction, both on Ice, and in snow. Making this a surprisingly effective vehicle for multi environmental play.Plus because of it's design, when it ultimately flips over, with it's body being lower than the tires, it's able to drive upside down, and even has a special button that you can press to intentionally force it into a "flipped" position, along with other buttons for general control, and even what they call a "dancing" button, where the car quickly moves on it's own to pop up on two wheels and briefly balance on the wheels before spinning in place, and flipping about. Over all this toy is great fun for children of any age over 5 years and up, and any gender. If you want a great toy to play in almost any environment, This is the car for you!

Worked once
We used it properly but it stopped working almost immediately. Unfortunately, we didn't use it until the return window had closed so this was a waste of money.

Surprisingly Great!
For the $20 price tag I wasn't expecting much but my son wanted a remote control "car that could flip" for his birthday so I figured I'd give it a shot. He also was turning 4 and this was his first RC car so I figured the bar didn't need to be set too high but this thing is great. It runs well, responds to the remote without a problem, seems to be very well built and could handle drops off curbs, driving through puddles, fighting through grass/leaves, etc. without a problem. The battery life is also surprisingly good for the size and price so I would definitely recommend this as a first RC car for any young kid as it's become a favorite in our household.
