This works really well. I really like the fact it has the two way shut off and a nice slow stream for watering plants and for filling the brid bath.

I decided to switch to this type of nozzle after twenty plus years of using the typical 5 - 8 water patterns nozzles. Every single one of those broke within months in that at least one of the patterns would stop working (almost always the soaker pattern which is what I use the most). This Fireman type of nozzle is more expensive, but after just one use and examining how it works and what it is made out of, I am convinced this will last a very long time. Far less chance of breakage and many more options for the spray pattern as you just twist it until you get what you want. I find I have a lot more control of the flow and am able to get water just where I want it at the pressure I want.Unlike the 5 pattern nozzles, you do have to use two hands to operate it where you want more often, but that's something that's easy to adapt to, and the increased control makes it worth it. I used it to get high pressure and also very low pressure so I could easily rinse my tires without getting other parts of the car wet. It does have a lever that allows you to shut it off, but it works pretty hard. This would make one hand operation easier if you want to maintain the same flow when you turn it on each time. Consequently, I have given it four stars rather five. However, this could loosen up over time. If it doesn't, it's just as easy to twist it closed.I'm glad I spent the extra money on this compared to the regular type of nozzle. I believe it will last far longer and thus save me money in the end.

I love these spray nozzles. I have three of them one for each one of my hoses.

Kind of pricey but really nice to use. The adjustment ability is nearly infinite. It’s so nice looking and effective that I don’t leave it lying around in my grass when I’m done. It’s locked back away in the garage.

Had much higher hopes for this nozzle given all the great reviews. It is nice that it has 2 shut-off options - either use the actual sliding on/off lever, or rotate the nozzle to either end and it turns off. However, performance is inconsistent. While rotating through then various nozzle strengths/patterns, passing by one, and going back to it produce completely different patterns (this nozzle does not have specific, discrete nozzle pattern openings like so many do, it is a smooth transition between wide to narrow, with varying spray patterns and strength in between. It's nearly impossible to get it to spray the same way twice if you find something useful though. It's fine, and seems very well made, but just not useful enough. Still might return it.

Well now. It seems that I've bought - and returned - every nozzle that claims to adjust from some spray pattern to another. As I recall I was influenced by a favorable review by another member of our Amazon community. Thank you Amazon for our Amazon community. If this isn't the best adjustable nozzle that there is, I'll never know it because I'm never going to buy any other kind. This nozzle provides a very powerful focused stream, capable of hosing down your roof, your house, your car, and your driveway, and allowing generous irrigation for about 50 feet. It can be seamlessly rotated to provide a wider pattern, suitable for closer irrigation. There are no positions to click to, there is no resistance, there are no "settings"; just intelligent machine science. Form fit and function. Thanks to excellent materials selection, the tactile experience of using this machine - by definition, it isn't simply a tool - is as gratifying as its elegant appearance makes you hope that it will be. It will be.
