I bought this as an organizer for work files at home so they can be easily put away. It looks nice and is sturdy enough for typical use. It came with 2 metal brackets that you could use to hang files on. They don't fit into anything and just instantly ripped the pleather they were meant to be inserted into. This will be fine for my usage but if you are planning on using it to hang files I would look for something of better quality.

The organizer is nice looking. I just feel that for the money it would be better made. The holes for the metal poles that are used for the file folder do not even line up. I can't even use them like they are made for.

I really like the size of bag…BUT the rods to hold the files like to fall down. I have lost the adjusters for them too. The holders for the rods have really given way. There isn’t a way to fix it other then getting a new one. Other then that the bag looks great on the outside. I have had this bag for 1year.

I bought this bag in black and orange, school colors, for my classroom. I am a yearbook adviser and we receive large folders of proofs that students need access to on a daily basis. I bought the black bag for "completed proofs" and the orange bag for "proofs in progress" and we will start using them next year. The bag is rigid enough to stand upright when filled with the envelopes and deep enough to hold 336 pages of proofs or more. I appreciate that the top is open and can be used as a filing system. I probably will not use the handles, but it may allow me to hang them on a wall on a hook at some point.

I love these portable file organizers. I have two and they work so well when you have to carry files around and have easy access to them. I'm constantly taking files in and out of the office and into multiple cars and this product has been a life saver! Plus the leather look is attractive and professional. I own two in different colors so I know which type of files is in each and can grab the right one at a glance. They also come with metal rods you can insert if you want to use it for hanging files.One caveat: These are designed for files, not anything else. I previously used one to transport very heavy books and the handle broke. My bad for overloading it!

While the tote is decent enough for what I needed it for, like so many reviewers, I only received one metal hanger for the files which makes it useless for hanging folders. I contacted the seller and they very kindly told me I could return it. I know I'm lazy, but that's a hassle. So I'll find something else to use it for. If you're looking for a hanging file tote, keep looking.
