Bright, Efficient, Long Lasting Lights with Nice Pattern
Please excuse the white balance of my phone camera - these photos were taken with the lights set to warm white, and my phone does not do them justice...These are BRIGHT lights, and I really appreciate that they may be switched between cool and warm white. The cool white is definitely a bright white, but not invasive... I do prefer the warm white, however, because while it is still plenty bright it presents a bit softer.I purchased them because they fire downward - I didn't really want the lights themselves to be focal points. That said, the light projection is definitely visible from the front and sides, however since it's directed it's not glaring or excessively distracting. The light pattern they throw is simple yet elegant. It's not distracting or excessively busy like some lights, but it has enough 'texture' to be interesting and attractive. These lights are very efficient! The day I received them they arrived early afternoon, and I installed them with only a few hours of light to charge from (they arrive with a partial charge, however JSOT recommends a solid day or two of sunlight before usage for best results). They turned on at dusk around 6:30pm and were full brightness. I took my dog out at around 1:30am and they were still on just as bright (meanwhile, my solar floodlights rated at ~8 hours had already gone off). I've been outside as late as 2:30am after an overcast day and they were still on full brightness... Very impressive!I do have a few minor 'gripes' with the lights, however nothing that is worth dropping a star since I was aware of these before purchasing...First - there's no ability to change the battery... The lithium battery theoretically should last a long time, however once it's done, the fixture is done...Second - the entire construction is plastic... It's thick, durable plastic, and I had no issue staking it into the ground or anything, however I'm hoping it lasts with continuous exposure to the elements.Third - their appearance is somewhat utilitarian. My wife equates them to golf clubs, and I definitely see it... We only used one section for height without the extension, and they're definitely more streamlined, however another house in our neighborhood has the same lights with the extension in place and they look pretty awkward and tacky in my opinion, and many of their lights are leaning which leads me to believe the relatively small spike may not be able to support the top heavy fixtures as well with the extension in place (personally, I don't see any use for the extension unless the light is behind an obstruction). All in all, these are great lights!

Bright white lights
We love these. We live in an area that has no street lights and very few neighbors. So when there’s no moon it’s pitch black. We bought our first set 2 years ago and fell in love. Perfect for us, great lines, bright white light we have them everywhere! The older lights came with brackets for wall mounting, we’ve installed quite a few on the trunks of our trees. These lights have turned our driveway into a brighter, safer space. No more tripping on roots and rocks when walking the dog. I stick the lights into a 2”x 10’ electric conduit pipe which we sink about 18” into the ground giving us the same effect as a small ‘street light’. It’s perfect over our benches and swing. I also love that I can now see all those critters that I was only able to hear rustling about before. They’ve proven to be quite durable and although we’ve spent a fair amount on these, it’s still cheaper and much easier to install than a low voltage system. As a landscape designer I wish these had been available sooner. I could have saved my clients oodles of money and hassle that installing an in ground system requires. I can stick one of these lights just about anywhere, even the ones in the greenhouse that don’t get full sun exposure stay lit until 2 or 3am. In the winter they don’t stay on quite as long but they still make it to 4 or 5 most days. We’ll definitely be back for more, we’re on 5 acres and I keep finding new spots to illuminate. They’ve transformed our little spot of heaven from a dark hole at night into a welcoming spot to walk and explore night and day. I’m especially glad to be able to see and avoid all the cobwebs that pop up after dark. Cheers! Great lights, the simplicity makes these timeless. And we’ve saved money every month on electricity since we don’t need to use the exterior house lights anymore.

Well made for solar lights, bright, long lasting
These have lasted for a few years, and the plastic stakes were knocked an broken well before anything happened to the electronics. I designed replacement plastic stakes, which are printable on thingiverse.Overall much nicer, and longer lasting than many path lights. Like that they point downward, illuminating the path, rather than just standing out on their own. Make the approach to my house much safer overall.

Works ok
The light itself if plastic with a good bend that looks nice when along a pathway. The light faces down just right. It assembles pretty easy and can stand very tall. Pretty solid (for plastic). But we are not talking aluminum prices here - so that's ok. As for the lights - the lights are a bit dim. Definitely could have been about 50% brighter. Lights up about a 4ft diameter circle. Its ok. Depends on yours use-case. It has a switch for on/off and white/yellow. The rest is just preference: The yellow portion is a bit overly yellow to me. Something in-between and more towards daylight color would have worked better. The white is a bit overly white. If you like the white look, more typical for industrial settings - it works well. As it is, its really preference of the buyer.
