This kit is amazing! strong and sturdy and very easy to install. You get everything you need and everything is so well packaged with clear instructions on what goes where and how to install everything. We've never had 100% signal strength before but today with this set up we have 100% on both tuners.The recent wind damaged our old dish leaving us without any TV. We ordered this kit and it arrived less than twenty four hours after we ordered it, we were worried we wouldn't have any TV over Christmas. My youthful neighbour has been in this morning and fitted the new Dish for us and we now have TV again. The whole instal including removal of all the old equipment and wiring took around two hours. It would have been quicker but we had issues with the old dish removal so that lengthened the install time.Top marks all round thank you ssl for your service and great value product.

Seems to have fixed my freesat problems with my old satellite. It was delivered quickly and the satellite finder worked well too. I used it in conjunction with an app because there are a bunch of satellites up there! But it wasn't difficult to install, as long as you don't mind being up a ladder. Receiving HD images in no time

Whilst the product does work. As I installed it myself and spent over half a day trying to align the dish with the satellite finder they send with the dish. I followed the instructions to align the dish and the finder was bleeping away to say i was inline, but no signal at the box. Got fed up in the end as it would not get a signal, so had to get a satellite engineer to come and align the dish, and yes it is now working. The satellite finder is not very good and gives alot of false readings, while it said i was aligned, the engineer said I was an inch out. So, Overall very frustrating. The satellite finder is clearly not up to the job.

Removed 20 year old dish and I was really happy to find the new bracket had exactly the same holes so I didn't have to drill new holes in the wall. I found I had to study the instructions carefully before I went mad assembling the new dish. I noticed a few comments saying that the holes don't line up. I can only assume this may have been on the mesh dish. All I did was put all 4 screws in loosely, manipulating the dish to get them to fit. When I was happy I tightened everything up that didn't need further adjustment when mounted on the wall. I mounted and pointed the dish roughly where the old one was. When looking side on the mesh dish looked vertical which I found on an internet guide. To my surprise I had a picture straight away. Between using the supplied meter which you need to keep adjusting the gain to fine tune the direction, and looking at the signal strength on the freesat box, I got 100% signal on BBC HD. I then swapped to POP children's channel, this had no signal. All I did was change the skew of the lnb, and my helper shouted from the TV when POP had a full signal. I ended up after 10 mins of slow steady adjustment from start to finish, 100% signal and 100% quality on every channel. I'm really glad I replaced the whole dish even after initially swearing as I thought the wall bracket had different holes to fit to wall compared with the old one. I highly recommend this dish. Tools needed to replace old for new where 10mm and 13mm socket set. Small Phillips screwdriver, side cutters (if you are cutting the cables and putting on new F connectors.
