Q: Can you connect this to a computer?

Sure.MIDI/USB interface makes it possible to connect to your computer to edit music and play all the piano games.

Q: How do i midi it to my computer? i am currently traveling in europe with it. it does not "show up" on my computer like my other midi keyboards do.

Depending on software. It should come up as some entry. If not, check your USB.

Q: Does this not work when utilizing usb and a desktop or laptop? both garageband and cubase are not picking this up as a controller

It works for me in Simply Piano. I use a USB-C to USB-A wire to my USB-C hub that has a USB-C Power Port, a couple of USB-A ports, and a 3.5mm headphone port. I plug a power feed into the appropriate port, plug the wire from the piano into a USB-A port, and plug the hub into my iPad Pro. I turn down the sound completely on the piano and listen to both the piano sounds (via the USB-Host port - it’s not full MIDI) and the app sounds. Haven’t tried Garage Band. By the way, the piano both feeds sound through the wire as well as charges.

Q: What accessories are inside the package?

A sustain pedal and attaching wire, a power brick and wire with USB-C plug to go into the piano, a music stand to sit on top of the piano, and a case. Note that the case is not padded, so you have to carry on rather than check it when you travel.
