Came quickly and just as described. Definitely an improvement over the stock antenna that comes with a BCD436HP... it also has a sturdy joint at the base that pivots the antenna to a 90 degree angle; would work well with a BCD536HP (and a BNC adapter) also! The radio transmissions received by the 436 are much better; static and signal choppiness are much lower. Thanks!

I bought this antenna for my BC75XLT and it works great!! My county uses a digital radio system for emergency communications and the scanners to listen are very expensive. The county has a repeater in analog for rebroadcast of Fire & EMS dispatches and the reception was okay with the provided antenna except for listening to South fire band. After switching out antennas the reception is significantly better and much clearer in both analog frequencies I listen to. As a former volunteer firefighter I appreciate still being able to monitor the Fire and EMS activity in my home county. Would recommend this antenna for those who use non digital scanners.

Bought the 820S for my new SDS100 because I wasn't getting the reception I wanted in the "hole" I live in. One of the main systems I wanted to pickup was a local 850-860 MHz P25 Trunk System that shouldn't of been a problem. With the OEM antenna, the scanner would not hold on to the control channel for very long. The signal strength bars at the top right were 1, maybe 2, at best, but a lot of the time it would drop down to no bars and it'd go searching again. I confirmed this bad signal strength by moving around my house until the signal improved and the radio traffic resumed. As soon as this antenna arrived, I swapped it out and the signal strength immediately shot up to 4 bars, the scanner held on to the control channel easily and the chatter began! Haven't had a problem receiving this system since. Also confirmed that the signal of lower frequency, conventional, systems received just fine as well. Very happy with this purchase! Thank you!

Fits good, Feels nice etc. Good build quality. Not really noticed any increase over factory antenna unfortunately.My first order got lost in the mail and I have to give zipscanners credit. They made it right and sent me another one. I did finally get it. Customer service was exceptional on that note. USPS just lost my first package so it wasn't zipscanners fault obviously.

Great upgrade from the uniden bearcat SDS100 stock antenna

Our local EMS and fire departments use old analog signals. I previously purchased an upgraded tri-band antenna, but after no improved reception on the FMN/analog channels and reading some additional reviews, I decided to give this a try. There was a noticeable reduction in static on the FMN channels after installing this antenna, and the quality of the sound on NXDN channels we monitor was preserved. We're very far from experts on scanners or radio frequencies, but this worked for our purposes.

About "5" better on RSSI than the standard antenna on my Uniden SDS200.
