Spigen brings the chonk
First off, this thing is CHONKY. When I first opened the box, I was surprised at the sheer size of it. I debated returning based on size alone since I purchased this to be my travel setup. But after looking it over and inspecting the design and materials, I had no option but to keep it. Shell looks and feels fantastic. The top does have a little give due to the cavernous storage space on the inside. One dislike, though: the central strap does hold the SD in place, but tilting it side to side does cause the SD to shift and bump into the molding of the case - you can hear and feel it when it does this. My guess is they over approximated the handheld molding to accommodate grip cases, which is something a LOT of case manufacturers fail to do. I needed a push to buy a grip case anyway. Storage space above the Deck as mentioned before is pretty cavernous. I initially had reservations about it being directly above the Deck, but the netting is doubled up, leaving only a little give from a heavy load. I put my external battery,(Insignia 80W 26,800 mah) some cables, and polish cloth in there with tons of room to spare. The netting also had little give with the battery in there. Since I'll be traveling with this stored on its side, I don't see much issue with it. The storage space under the Deck is also a nice touch. It won't quite fit the standard charger, but I ordered the 45W Samsung travel charger, which should fit just fine. Another weird upside: due to its more forgiving molding design, it's pretty easy to rotate the SD in the case and charge it while zipped up. The strap is also a point of contention for the case. The strap itself is rigid with little give - which is good - and lined in a nice microfiber fabric. The lash point on the case is a nice Spigen branded metal buckle that feels incredibly secure in use. I don't really use the strap on my original case, so this wasn't a selling point for me. However, I could see it being pretty reliable for someone on the fence about it being anchored on the corner of the case. Overall, I really like this chonky boi. I'm a sucker for little details and even down to the little YKK zips are Spigen branded. Comparing this to the Valve case is a night and day difference. This has that premium look that really compliments the SD. If you can look beyond the size, it's an absolutely fantastic case.

Very large case
This is a very large case. Seems very rugged and the middle velcro strap holds the steam deck very well. Small compartment on the bottom under the flap fits the official charger, zipper pouch on the top of the case can fit a USB power bank, SD cards, and other accessories easily. This case basically can hold everything you want on the go, but again this case is large, much bigger than I expected. I ended up returning it because the size is too big for my use case. I also ordered it because someone mentioned it fits the Dbrand killswitch case and while it does fit the killswitch it sits a bit awkward due to the accessory attachment bump on the killswitch case and sits a bit high taking up some of the space for the top zippered area. If you rip/cut out the bottom compartment flap maybe it would fit better, but I did not like it as it is. Also if you have the killswitch travel cover installed, it absolutely does not fit.

Great for securing the Steam Deck while keeping accessories together.
This is a great case that gives extra room for chargers, travel docks, and other accessories. It has an extra latch to secure the Steam Deck while also being soft enough to be gentle on the screen, it also has a hidden compartment too. The only drawback is that it might be a little too bulky, their is extra space that could be shrunk down a bit but that is just a nitpick.

Barely Fits Killswitch Without Kickstand
My Deck in a DBrand Killswitch fits, if I remove the kickstand, but it's real tight. The top half of the case is empty space, with a tight mesh net that stretches over the Deck in the bottom half, so there's little to no pressure on the joysticks and it won't be bouncing around in the case. The mesh has a zipper on it, though, making it a pocket, and anything in there will be sitting on the face of the Deck, and will be able to slide around inside. The screen is covered, so it won't damage that, but without a solid barrier between the two halves (I used a sheet of bubble pack) anything you put in there could hit the joysticks, or scratch up the controller area. The case itself is solid (hard), and the zippers are high quality, so if you're just carrying the deck without an aftermarket case, and maybe a USB-C dongle, you'll be set, but the case the Deck comes with is just as good or better for that use case. There's only one strap loop on the right side of the bag, so you can't comfortably shoulder strap it, or easily attach it to a suitcase, and it takes up most of the space in the large pocket of my backpack given how big it is. Overall, it's a quality product, but I'd recommend using the included case over this one, unless you want something a little sturdier.

Big Ole Case
This case is one chonky boy! But as such, it holds All The Things! I can fit my Steam Deck + US wall charger in the bottom, and I can wiggle an entire Logitech Pebble 2 keyboard and slim mouse into the upper shell’s zipper compartment. (Tip: First slide top of keyboard into the bottom half first of the pocket first, upside down, then stretch top half of the zipper pocket over the remainder and zip. Perfect fit). The case also functions as a fine non-slip lap rest for playing at a more comfortable angle.

Material and built quality is perfect. It has a lot of spaces to carry other additional things. So, I can put; * Steam Deck with protective case * Baseus 65W GaN adapter * Logitech T630 Touch Mouse * Foldable keyboard with touchpad * 8BitDo SN30 Pro controller * 2 x 2TB Crucial X6 SSD (for windows 11 and SteamOS) * HDMI-USB-Power hub * 1m Type c USB 3.1 Gen2 cable, etc. And doesn't have any pressure on the Steam Deck when I close it off. Highly recommend it!

I don't leave reviews unless I'm impressed with a product. This case is perfect for my steam deck! I tried a few others but I have a thick case on mine and I couldn't find one that fit without applying pressure to the deck screen and joycons. There are really only three downsides which for me aren't an issue. 1. This case is BIG. Like, it takes up half of my backpack. 2. The compartment under the deck isn't big enough to store the charger that comes with the deck. 3. The mesh zippered compartment is very handy but will apply pressure to the screen and joycons if you put anything large/heavy inside. (I.e. Extra battery) These aren't a problem for me as I purchased a smaller charger block and separate 6' cable. They fit well in the storage under the deck. The size is also not an issue because I don't carry a lot of stuff with me and everything I need for the deck can be stored in the case. And I only use the mesh zippered compartment for SD cards so as long as I can hear them sliding around I know they aren't applying pressure to the screen or joycons. Overall, I am very glad I bought this. I've used Spigen cases for my phone's in the past and I've never had a problem. The case is sturdy, the zipper is solid and I don't worry about anything falling onto or dropping the case. It also comes with a little strap that isn't super useful but I threw it on anyway. If you use a case for your deck and need a carrying case for it, get this!
