I love it. No buttons or cords.

The best thing I can say about this tree topper is that it looks best when it’s off. When it’s lit, the color looks yellow, not gold which is what I wanted. It does sit nicely on top of the tree and I did get a remote unlike other buyers. I’m going to keep it and just keep it unlit.

This is a beautiful topper! The kids noticed it as soon as they seen it! The options for the different settings from the remote are good. The only downfall is that it eats batteries. I left it twinkling at night, and I needed to replace the 3 AA's every two weeks. Other than that, it is a beautiful accent piece!

This took a while to get to me but it was worth it for the battery operated feature with remote. It’s not super pretty but not ugly, looks fine on top of the tree, very glittery. Has 8 different light functions which a couple of them would work well if you were using it at a night club 🤷‍♀️ but I like that it has a variety. You can also dim the light in it which was an unexpected nice feature. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is the remote has stoped working after 10 days of use, it could be a battery issue, I haven’t checked yet. I have just left the Star itself on for 48 hours straight now because I can’t reach the top of the tree to turn it off manually.

The star is nice however it will not stay on a specific setting (light flashing versus constant light). I will put it on the setting for steady constant light on, and it will stay like that for a few minutes before going back to flashing.
