Nice convex brush
First, in 2024, a half round vent brush with a curved back is very hard to find! As a professional hairstylist and owner of this type of brush with an easy grip handle for years, when it came time to replace one, wow, it was a challenge to find. All new brushes seem to have a concave curve and what I need is one to bend hair up and curve the hair without crimping from a square/ flat backed brush. To style your hair up and back a convex half rounded brush is needed.After examining several here and even on eBay they all looked the same, they just had different prices. I couldn’t seem to find any differences between all of the black “ men’s” brushes except for the brand stamp on the handle.I counted rows and bristles on each black branded brushes here and with the exception of some having white painting on the bristles, I couldn’t find any difference between the brands.This brush is great. It has somewhat stiff bristles but feels great on the scalp and grabs the hair well for styling without snagging. The handle, quite the mystery on what it feels like. I’m unsure what the brush is made of but for me, the handle needs to be easy to hold and grip and not have a slick plastic feel. This one has a grippable handle and feels easy to hold and use. It also appears not to have tips that will come off, thus becoming sharp and end up damaging your hair. The handle could be a little longer, that’s the only thing I’d change.Btw, this brush is for anyone, not sure why they are labeled as men’s brushes. Of course anyone who needs a hair brush can use this!
