Really awesome replacement fan for the acer nitro laptop I had fixed up for my friend! Camera in a small box with little protection so I was extremely worried it was broken but thankfully it wasn't. Easy to install if you aren't a noob at computer repairs

This product was used in an Acer Nitro 5 Gaming Laptop to replace failing OEM fan approximately 1+ year ago and has been working perfectly. Would purchase again.

Fans are a direct fit physically, but according to Nirto Sense on the computer, the replacement fan is turning at 4687 rpm where as the oem is running at 5769 rpm. There is a noticeable difference in air flow but its minimal. It's still better than no fan at all though. If you're a hard-core gamer, it's something to consider but for me it's probably fine. One picture is with both fans installed both at 4,6xx rpms, while the other picture is with the right oem fan and the left replacement fan.

I ordered a fan for the left side and the box was even labeled left side fan. It is most definitely a right side fan. Which was not needed unfortunately. Edit: Left side looking at the keyboard (it's in the description), not if you just dissembled it left, whoops. Kinda weird but, I still ordered the other side from them Another edit: It's trash don't buy from this company the dimensions are wrong putting it in. The fan I bought chipped itself somehow, i kept hearing a whirring sound every once and awhile that finally wouldn't go away, so I decided to look at it. The fan itself is low quality as it gets. I can't figure out where the sound is coming from on it.

Brought my Acer Nitro5 back to life, in a smokers house so definitely worth a swap out and its been perfect!

Got it quick and replaced it with no problem.

One of the fans was not an OEM fan and caused a short on the motherboard in my Acer Nitro 5. The laptop booted up for a few seconds then immediately shut off and would not power back on. I took it to a technician who identified the short for me and after a quick repair and reinstalling the original fan I was back up and running. I do not recommend purchasing these. Buying parts is always a lottery so I'm sure some shipments will work, this was simply my experience and I do not recommend purchasing these.
