I've paired this set with a beautiful mat from a more expensive Mahjong line, and it's been great! I was looking for a reasonable second set of tiles so that more friends could play at the same time, and I am impressed with the quality of the tiles and racks. The storage pieces are simple but effective. If you want to start mahjong but don't want to commit to the pricier versions out there, this is a wonderful way to start, and you may never need to upgrade. You can splurge on one of the more decorative mats out there if you want that fancier feel. (This set does not come with a mat.)

Our Mahjong crew (a.k.a. the Dragon Ladies 🐉) is picky about our tiles—and this set totally delivers! The 166 premium white tiles feel solid—no flimsy plastic here—and the vibrant, crisp printing makes each tile easy to read. The all-in-one racks with built-in pushers are a must-have, and the red carrying bag is cute and sturdy, and keeps everything organized.This set comes with extra tiles, and a really informative instruction manual. The price has gone up a little since I purchased mind, but this really is a great quality Mahjong set.

Recently went to a Family Reunion where we played this game. Love it -but I'm too slow to select a Hand. I ordered this set to practice. It is very nice. My sister's set was higher quality but this set is great. Tile colors are vibrant & they are a good size (especially when building the walls). Bag is handy & organized. My 10 year old granddaughter comes Friday nights with her friends for Game Night. I redesigned a game using this set to play a game similar to Rummy. It makes a nice introduction to the different tiles. Maybe we'll make it to Mahjong next year!

The Mah Jongg set is very nice and it is easier to pack up after playing.It also came with plenty of extra tiles that I like as well. I would definitely recommend this to my friends

Very easy to travel with. We brought it on our road trip. Didn’t take up too much room and it’s easy to pack. The tiles are miniature, but that’s okay. It makes it easy to travel with. The tiles are excellent quality. The pushers make it easy to organize your hand and easier to build a wall. For the reasonable price and great quality, I recommend it for travel and starter set.

Like many other people, I have gotten into American mahjong and playing with my friends once a week isnt enough so I decided I need to get my own set set at home and teach my family how to play. This is absolutely beautiful. Perfect!
