I'm kind of an espresso snob and spent many years stationed in Italy / Sicily where espresso is a way of life! I needed an alternative to the pricey Nespresso brand and these certainly fit the bill. Not only are they cheaper, but they taste much more like an espresso I'd have gotten in Rome, Florence, Milan, or Venice. And that's saying a lot!One thing I really appreciate, outside of the taste, is that there is a great foam / cream on top. That's a huge piece to a really good espresso. These are some of the best espresso pods I've used - to the tune that my family has gone through about 4k of these exact pods since finding them in 2020.When factoring in price, taste, and quantity - these simply cannot be beat!

Good value for the money.

We normally buy a brand name (the word Star is in the name) Nespresso pod coffee, but the price has gotten a little steep so we thought we’d try this brand based upon the (mostly) glowing reviews and reasonable price.Our experience? Both me and me significant other did not like the flavor….at all. Can only describe the taste as….I dunno….kinda like brown dishwater. Adding Stevia sweetener didn’t help either. We won’t make a second purchase.Since taste is an individual thing, your mileage may vary. But for the life of us, as espresso coffee drinkers from way back, we could not figure out why so many folks gave this coffee glowing reviews. Guess it’s the old different strokes for different folks thing. That’s our story, and we’re stickin’ to it. The end.

This is a decent compatible pod, and very reasonably priced compared to Nespresso brand pods. Good flavor, and a consistent product. Would buy again.

I usually get pods from TJ Maxx for the price per pod. In clearance section, you can sometimes score $0.30 per pod. This is cheaper and tastes as good as the brand that TJ Maxx carries. Also, it gets delivered right in front of your door. Don’t have to bring a wife to TJ Maxx and spend an extra $100 when you try to save pennies on pods. It’s strong, fits perfectly to Nespresso machine, and it functions correctly.
