I have two of these, one on each window in my bedroom. Tied off to the wrought iron outside. Plenty of ventilation and blocks out the sunlight. I can still read with the light allowed in. Nice and cool in the summer.

I planted broccoli and THEN found out that broccoli plants are very sensitive to too much sun. These shades seem to be doing the trick. I'll find out more as the summer goes on.

I have the 4x4 mini greenhouse from Canopia that has no light diffusion and this was perfect to drape over the top for my seedlings in summer, even with the doors open to allow air flow. I have it secured with a bungie cord. I got the 3x6 size shade cloth. Great sturdy quality and love the green color!

Purchased these to help block a SW facing upstairs balcony from direct afternoon sun on plants and help with the heat in living room. I'm in a rental and there is nowhere to attach because all points are aluminum rather than wood so I purchased longer rope and tied these through the loop holes top and bottom so I can slide them side to side depending on where the sun is. I initially tried a larger cloth but it was too heavy for the rope and sagged but 2 smaller cloths next to each other with the center top rope pinned with a zip tie to a double stick deal from HD and it works. It's not perfect, but it does what I need it to do without spending too much money and the heat on the balcony and in the apt is noticeably less.

purchased 2 6'x3' sunshades in July 2023 to attach to latticework over my patio. purchased separately the 6" bungee cords, which worked perfectly. so far, i'm thrilled at the results....the sunshades had enough gromets to secure in place onto the lattice. The light color actually lightens the area. not sure it's 90% shading, but works fine for this application. It was SOOO hard to find a sunsheet only 3' wide..... glad i found these. i returned the identical ones in green as they made the patio soooooo dark

It was perfect size and was able to stretch it out even after it would get loose, it’s still hangin strong even after the daily sun beating it.

This didn't really serve it's purpose, much smaller than expected. It also still attracts heat so doesn't do much to protect plants outside

The sun was too strong for my herbs and sugar snap peas, but I also didn’t want a solid cloth because I wouldn’t be removing it every morning. I out it on the side on the sunrise so it would block the morning sun but not the afternoon sun and it worked wonderfully. I used some long sticks and twisty ties to set it up but it does come with rope. Held up to rain and sun.
