works well with keyboard and guitar. I would recommend. the cd it comes with for installation did not work very well but eventually got it to work.Came on time too!

does what it is supposed to do. well packaged, fair price, quick shipping, accurate description. meets expectations.

Took me some time and a couple emails to support to figure out how to configure my MacBook, but it is all good now. Works with Garageband amps and effects pedals - really a lot of fun. And the free Audacity program that came with the cable is a kick, plug in the guitar, record and then add the effects. Thank you, a true bargain for what I paid for it and especially compared to what is available out there on the market place.

(main reason I bought it) There is constant feedback and if any noise penetrates the hole while recording it will be picked up in the recording. For example I tried to make two tracks for a song-- one vocal one guitar. Since I have issues keeping time while recording just the guitar I sang along and my vocals came through the recording in astounding muddy quality. Although this may not be an issue for some.

I wanted an easy way to get the signal from my guitar into a cheap laptop so that I could use Audacity to do some recording. It works just as it should for my application. Recording was as simple as plugging the cable into the USB port and choosing the correct input from the Audacity menu. I'm not sure that anything else needs to be said about it, other than that.

Great little plug in for creating demos. It especially sounds great when playing bass, when playing guitar there is a bit of high end frequency feed back but it gets the job done quite well.If I ever experience latency I usually just empty the trashcan and restart the program. Doesn't happen too often with this cable but, it does occur from time to time. The cable is a bit bulky where it plugs into the USB on my MacBook Pro, not sure if that's done on purpose to negate processing time but, if you want multiple things plugged into your USB ports you may want to get and extender.

I've used several instrument-to-computer devices, and this is the best one. The quality is fantastic. Directly plugging in guitars, basses especially, doesn't result in a great sound, but coming from an amp or keyboard with controlled volume, the recording is very true to the original sound.

Benefit of doubt. I never got to use it. It was shipped just fine, just never got around to trying it... sorry...
