ScanSnap iX1600 Deluxe Color Duplex Document Scanner with Adobe Acrobat DC Pro for Mac and PC, Black

I've owned older models in the past and this new one is the fastest and easiest to use. Connected to my Mac with no problems. Scanning quality is excellent and it's very fast scanning a stack of 50 pages single or double-sided. Would definitely recommend.

We have several of these in our office. They are pricey, so we always wait for Prime Day or Black Friday when they're on sale. We have gotten the Deluxe one with 1 year of free Adobe Pro. This helps us out a lot since we need Adobe to be able to edit PDFs for our office. We have tried other scanners from other brands, but ended up returning those and got this Fujitsu in the end. One thing that is annoying is that there are constant updates to the scanner once or twice a week. I'm not sure what they're updating, since it's just a scanner. So be aware that there are constant updates that this scanner needs.Besides that, it scans perfectly and quickly. It has a receipt organizer so you can feed small receipts through. And automatically detects if the document is double sided or not. It's easy to fix any documents that get caught by opening the tray. And even large scans are done scanning on the computer within seconds. We don't have time to wait for scans to finish, so this scanner is quick and easy to use. I wish they did have a larger version for non-standard sized paper, as it only fits the regular A4 or 8-1/2 and 11" paper or smaller documents. We're trying to be more and more of a paperless office, so having a scanner next to the computer is helpful. Recommend getting this one, as it is the best out there.

Excellent product! My old scanner bit the dust and it took me a while to research to make the correct decision. I am happy with the product and recommend it to any small business or for any home office.

Scanner works very well, and is a valuable addition to my office. Very disappointed in the changes made to the software in this latest version.

I have the scansnap ix500 that I like a lot and still running fine, but needed an extra scanner.The ix500 came with Acrobat XI which I used to modify pdf's. I was concerned if the Kofax software that came with the new ix1600 would be adequate.Well after using the Kofax software, I can say it is perfectly fine. I can append pdf files, insert/delete pages and reorder pages. Not sure if it can edit a page.Unfortunately, I found a bug where if you number the pages and later reorder pages, the name does not follow the reordered page.Also just like in my older scansnap, you can configure the scansnap software to perform OCR as part of the scanning. No need to do that in extra steps. OCR is for searching within a document.Also, if a page is crooked, you can sometimes straighten out in Kofax software by manually performing OCR on it.Overall, I have no issues with this scanner.

The media could not be loaded. I would say that the issue that I have with this is that when you connect it to a network with multiple computers in the house. it is very difficult between switching the computers. They need to make software to located it on the network and pair it with the computer you are one. At this moment, you have to know the IP address and force a location in the settings.If you were to use this on one computer using USB and then make the folder a sharing document would be the best way to go.Other than that, it works well. It works fast and I love the stupid thing.

My third one. For receipt scanning nothing on the market can touch this product. It scans everything with wifi if you choose. The features are endless which makes for a steep learning curve. It you need a scanner with a Twain driver this product has never had one therefore the ability to get it to interface with other products is not possible be aware if this matters to you otherwise the higher price matches the extra quality you will receive.

We paid nearly $80 extra for this edition that came with a one-year subscription to Adobe DC. We attempted to redeem this and the voucher would not work. Adobe would not honor it. Now we cannot return and we paid so much extra just for this add-on. Not to mention the two hours on the phone with Amazon, Adobe and Fujitsu who all passed the buck.
