Put these in a glass bowl like you’d use for cereal or soup. Then put a wet rag over it. Microwave for about one minute and you’ll see they are hot. Maybe go another minute and they are very hot but might be able to handle them. They retain heat for a long time so keep that in mind as you move them and be sure to flip side to side to even out the heat. If they get too hot everyone will hurt. It takes practice.

These are very smooth and hold heat pretty good. This was a replacement set for me. I have found better quality that holds the heat longer.but for home use they are good and at a good price, easy to use, good size.

I bought these for gentle massage for my hands and arms. I love that i can heat them (be careful not to use them too hot) or leave in freezer for a cold massage (again, they are COLD, so use something to cover them so you don't burn yourself).they fit perfectly in my hand and are easy to use with or without essential oils.
