Does what's advertised!
Initially bought the 4ft version, not realizing that there were longer options, but it and the longer replacement I bought both work perfectly fine, so I really can't complain!Used to connect my laptop to my Roku TV -- setup was incredibly simple, and the only thing I really had to do was make sure Windows knew it could still be widescreen when connected to the TV. :P The picture quality was a tiiiny bit blurry, but it's very slight, and pretty unnoticeable unless you're sitting a foot away from the screen.

Works with a splitter
I am using this with a VGA splitter and a dual HDMI monitor. This lets me share a window between two computers. The picture on the HDMI monitor is noticeably dimmer and less crisp than that on the VGA monitor, but I'm not sure if that's due to signal attenuation caused by the splitter. Other than that, it works fine: maybe I was expecting too much.

Doesn't really function as a 10 foot wire
The good: the wire does work.I connect my laptop (vga) to the computer (hdmi) and can watch movies and such successfully. It does get use.One thing is that you need to connect the usb, the audio, and the vga cable for this to work properly, then in your computer display settings hit 'detect monitors' for the computer to find the tv.I bought the '10 foot' version of this product - expecting the 3 connections that plug in to the computer to be on one side of the 10 foot cable, and the hdmi to plug into the TV to be on the other side. Not so. For some reason, the individual wire that connects the VGA part of the computer to the rest of the wire is 10 feet, and the cable connecting to that to the HDMI is tiny. Imagine a pitch fork where one of the points is longer than the handle - that's the configuration. The bottom line is that I have to have the computer right next to the TV with very little leeway, despite buying the 10 foot option. Very disappointing.

These devices work.
I am using these to convert from VGA to HDMI (where needed). They work well.

It did what I needed it to do
I bought this cord so I could look at my MRI on my laptop on my TV. It worked! I didn't need it for sound so I wasn't worried about that. It wasn't as long as I thought I was going to be but that was no problem either.
