**Q: is there a way for me to buy a new cord? i noticed that the cord that it came with seemed specially fit for mouse and i wanted to get a spare**
A: I thought the same thing too! The cord head with the USB micro side is specifically designed for this. There's some that fit, but not without force. Contact Dell service they may be able to help you.
