Wow, the pieces included in this set create the option for you to stem off into 4 separate pathways, which you cannot do without this set. I wish I knew how to attach a video to show how cool this works. It's a game changer, as it diminishes some of the need for those tiny pieces used as support. We all run out of those pieces! Besides allowing you to stretch your marble run out, the other pieces in the set are just rad. You NEED the jump. You NEED the roller coaster tracks. You NEED this set. If you are buying Marble Genius, you know you're used to quality. These sets are a bit more pricey than the cheaper version, but honestly worth it. Don't make me say "you get what you pay for". I just came back onto Amazon to buy another set so we can stretch out out sets even further, and thought I'd let you know, buy this. We have a few other Marble Genius add-ons, and this one provides the most entertainment as well as educational value.

I added this booster set to a marble run set by Mindware we had received as a gift over the holidays. The pieces fit great and I received more than I anticipated. Extra stacking pieces also arrived and extra marbles! This set actually fits much more snug and is much more stable than the Mindware product we have. Luckily it seems to work well with the Mindware to reinforce the set as a whole. I also love that the pieces are clear so my son can see the marbles go through easier. One thing I will add is that the pieces that look like roller-coaster tracks are only compatible with the marbles that come with the set. I have a bunch of marbles we've been using from an old Chinese checkers game and they fall through the tracks or get stuck because they are a slightly smaller diameter. Not a deal breaker, just something to be mindful of when ordering. If I ever buy more pieces or sets they'll be Marble Genius brand moving forward.

Kept our kids busy for days. Our 7 and 5 year old popped these open as soon as we got it. It's just enough for a decent build, but I suggest buying another set or two to crank up the creativity and sheer size/presence of the building potential. Awesome quarantine toy to get the kids' brains working. No joke, I discovered my two boys built a cascading marble run from the top of the stairs all the way to the bottom floor with 2 complete sets. So fun to see their faces as they track and follow the marbles to the bottom.

I bought an Extreme set for my husband for his birthday and bought this add-on right away thinking we would need more bases for my three-year-old to stand a chance at building anything of his own in the near future. The Extreme set by itself offers way more than I realized and we probably did not need this set. But, I think it was a worthwhile purchase. - Extra large base: I love the extra large base, which provides a lot of stability (especially as my son jumps with excitement and my baby tries to get involved.) - Extra large “fan” pieces: tons of fun for my son (but really offer zero building diversity for “advanced” builders as they’re essentially just pretty tubes. We do also use them to make cars and tractors. :) - Splitters: I love having extra splitters as a novice builder. I find myself needing ALL of them to figure out how to get anywhere! - Non-solid pieces: I was so excited for the roller coaster track looking pieces, but these are the only pieces in all our four combined sets that just aren’t great. The flimsiness makes them very easily unlevel just enough that marbles stop in them, which is such a letdown when you have a massive run going. This is the reason for four stars instead of five. - Other bending/looping/jumping pieces: The Extreme starter set really provided enough of these already that we don’t usually use them all up, so for us, we just didn’t really need more of these.

Bought this in 2021 as an add on to a larger set i bought in July of 2020. My grandsons were 5 and 3 at the time and played almost exclusively with this toy once I brought it out. Three years later and it is still the most played with toy at Nana and Papa’s. This add on set adds the hoses for the marbles to run through. We now have more than 10 sets and they make the most amazing runs with 8+ starting spots and many switches, slides and loops. Will never regret any of the sets I purchased. Every set was well worth the investment.

A bit on the pricey side for plastic toy but due to name brand and fit with other sets, it is understandable....a birthday gift...

This set contains some intriguing new pieces, and a lot of thought has obviously gone into designing them. They hold together firmly, yet are easy to join and unjoin. Every piece is strongly built, even the skeletal curved chutes, which are considerably more robust than they look. Marble size is important with these particular chutes - too big or too small and the marbles wilI jam, just right and they work beautifully. I took a chance in purchasing this set, as we had no Marble Genius pieces, just a mixture of pieces by Marbulous, Marbutopia and the ancient brand of Broadlands. I was pleased to find that the new pieces fitted reasonably well with all the other pieces, if not quite as snugly as they fit each other. I'm impressed with the quality of this set, and am tempted to purchase more from Marble Genius.
