Filterelated Quickly Hydrogen Water Ceramic Filter Disc

I just wish I could find instructions on how long to leave or put In my distilled water jug in the fridge. It's 3 gals.

I’m truly not really sure what to think of this ceramic hydrogen water disc. At the direction of my doctor, I already drink hydrogen water on a daily basis. I’ve been buying tablets that dissolve in a glass of water, but I was hoping this would be a more efficient replacement. I’ve followed the instructions, but other than seeing the ceramic disc fizz when I initially put it in the water, I can’t really tell that it’s doing anything. When I dissolve my hydrogen tablets in a glass of water, I can taste a difference….but with this disc, I don’t detect any different taste. I also have a small rechargeable glass hydrogen water generator/water ionizer that makes hydrogen water. Again, when I use it, I can taste a difference in the water….similar to the taste from drinking the hydrogen water made with H2 tablets. I keep following the instructions and trying the ilterelated alkaline hydrogen water ceramic filter disc, and keep getting the same indeterminate results. Hence, I can’t claim it isn’t working or doing what it’s supposed to…but I also can’t confidently state that it is. Time will tell if the disc is providing beneficial results in my body. I know having an alkaline body is desirable, so I will continue using these and believe the water I’m consuming from using these discs is producing positive results inside me. I will update my review if I have any positive or negative changes to report.

These do not raise the ph at all. My tap water is a 7 and so are these! Rip off!

Too soon to tell if it hold up to claims

Since I’ve come across these mineralizing discs, I have been trying to learn all I can about alkaline water and the company Filterelated which makes the discs. Filterelated is a small business (with under 100 employees) that manufactures a variety of water treatment products for anything from homes to industrial settings. They create reverse osmosis filters, RV filters, water softeners and more. Pretty much everything. I mention this because they seem to have a lot of experience with water technology. More than I was expecting. The company has a number of certificates displayed on their home page, but I am not knowledgable enough to fully understand the significance of each. SGS ( Société Générale de Surveillance) certification is shown in this product listing. SGS offers testing and consultancy services to ensure that a company is in compliance with NRTL and OSHA regulations, so that gives extra confidence in the company and their products. The mineralizing disc listing states that it removes pesticides from fruits and vegetables. I am not sure how this works. It very well might, but I do not understand yet how using alkaline water would differ from tap water in this case. That is something that might be described in greater depth if this listing is updated. The listing also states that it removes bad tastes and odors. I experimented with several glasses of water, some without using the mineralizing disc and some after having steeped for 3 minutes. For one test, I used a glass of water straight from the tap and another after using the disc. The water with the disc did have less smell and a more tolerable taste than the regular tap water. It wasn’t great, but it was better. Next I tried plain reverse osmosis water and reverse osmosis water with the disc. I thought the plain RO water was going to be my favorite, but I actually liked the mineralized RO water better. (If you exclusively drink RO water, your body may end up being deficient in minerals normally found in water. These discs might help to maintain replace some of what was removed from the water.) While reading about alkaline water, I found that drinking too much can have a similar effect to drinking too many acidic drinks. Your body will try to neutralize the alkaline water to maintain your pH. Also, I found out that alkaline water can affect how some medications work. The articles I read suggested drinking a bottle of alkaline water every other day for health, but ultimately consumption is up to the consumer and what they feel is best. Some information that might be nice to know would be how would you know when a disc has reached the end of its life? Is it possible to over-steep a pitcher of water? If you leave the disc in all the time, will it affect the taste of the water? It is alright for the disc to contact metals? In all, I am happy that I found these mineralizing disc. I enjoy the taste they give my water, and I am hopeful that they will help to maintain healthy levels of macro and trace minerals.

I originally picked this because it claimed to make Alkaline water. When I tested these discs they didn't make actual alkaline water but instead made hydrogen water similar to another device I already have. While the current description does talk about Hydrogen water benefits; when I picked this product to review it was supposed to make Alkaline water.

What can I say besides everything they claim it will do it does. From having more energy to better sleep. This is amazing. It's even begun to help me shed some unwanted weight with no side effects. I read about this before starting to consume it daily and I don't know how I can live without it now. Seriously, I have felt incredibly good and well since starting to drink it. Ill never go back to plain water again. I've already ordered more!

This does change the flavor of my water - not better or worse, just different. I can see it releasing bubbles but have no real way to test what changes its making. I don't get the put it in take it out directions - all I can think of is is this is for agitation. I've tied a piece of fishing line through the hole on mine so I can dunk and remove. I'd happily raise my rating if the instructions were better and this was better explained.
