Size on this one
Ok it’s a case knife. My blade was centered good opening was good. No side to side movement. Very nice. The white covering is ify at best. But I knew that when I bought it! Shipping from this company, with all that going on. 10 stars 3 days I had my knife. Fastest product I’ve received from Amazon for the last 3 months. The knife is small it’s not a pig sticker I carried a case for 42 years before I lost it! Iam upset with myself over it. But I have a new one yes same size. I love it I carry things that go boom for protection. This open package, gets a slivers, peels fruit wittles abranch end down , but it’s small so thoughs of you looking for a knife make note. But I’m very happy to have a case in my pocket again. Sorry I lost it dad. Great price on mine. I nothave a couple of hundred dollars for a knife this small. I bet they’re fantastic!I was a firefighter paramedic that little case knife cut 18 people out of their seatbelts. I still laugh about that! Guys with their high dollar tactical knifes. Realizes the pressure they where under to get knife out and open not making fun of the knife or the user! You have to live it to understand totally.

Ten Dollar Knife Tops
Thought I'd check out one of these famous "Case" knives, and out of the box found yellowed scales, weird gaps, a dull sandpaper-like edge, and even the dreaded crooked blade rubbing against the side (pictured here). For a hundred bucks (!) you get the exact same build you'd find on any ten dollar thrift store knife (except maybe for the abalone, which seemed to be authentic). I tried ordering a replacement to see if this was a fluke. Nope, the same common factory issues, lazy grinds, and bad blade alignment. Supposedly these used to be quality, hand-made knives, but these days when someone says "cut," this company apparently says "short-cuts." Zing! Proud of that one.

Beautifully crafted little pocket knife
This is my second Case and it's a beautifully crafted little pocket knife. Although they cost a bit more, you really can't beat Case for quality and finish. They're knives you can really love.Since the description is a bit lean, know that this is Case XX Knife Item # 28703, CHESTNUT SMOOTH BONE SMALL TEXAS TOOTHPICK, Pattern Number: 610096 SS. The SS means that it has a surgical stainless steel blade, rather than their other "CV" (chromium vanadium), non-stainless option. I have a Case Peanut in CV, and think blade material boils down to personal preference. They're both highly polished, very sharp, and though the CV should loose it's luster over time, it doesn't much unless you cut fruit (and it does polish back up). Though it's hard to tell from the photo, the handle of this chestnut bone small toothpick is quite smooth and has a very high-gloss finish that contrasts nicely with the polished nickel bolsters. The knife is 3" closed, 5.25" open and the blade is 2.25". It's very slim and light. You won't notice it in your pocket. If you're looking for this style knife (the exaggerated curve, long front bolster reminiscent of a silver-toed cowboy boot, and thin scimitar-like blade aren't everyone's taste and isn't honestly my first choice), you should be quite happy with this one. I gave it 5 stars because the materials, quality, and finish are great. Style boils down to personal preference. If the price is a bit high for your comfort, check out one with the yellow synthetic handles. Buck also sells a much cheaper Chinese-made, wood handle version - the Buck 385 Toothpick.Hope this helps.

Definite “must buy”!
This knife arrived just as shown and just as expected. I’m thrilled with the quality and the out of box edge is stellar. I work with surgical instruments and my number one priority was USA steel, followed by being made in the US. This knife checks all the boxes for me as it’s compact and portable, sturdy, high quality and looks nice! My one and only wish is a jump ring to attach this sucker to all different things. I hope to have this one a long time.

Super collectable
Just a great knife, either for carry or display. I like small knives and big guns. This one is just large enough to be useful, but small enough to slip deep into your pocket and disappear. The craftsmanship on these is just amazing. I think the quality of Case knives is why the antiquated slip joint knife has endured into modern times. The knife is just so well made that you can reasonably think of it as competition to a 10 dollar Smith and Wesson knife than locks.

Great little knife
Great little knife! Made in the USA, in my home state of PA! so I gotta love that! I ordered mine about a month ago. I have used this so far as an exacto knife, box cutter, whittled a bit with it, and even as one of the best steak knives I have ever used! (While camping, its better than most of my kitchen cutlery). I have carved the bark off of a few hardwood branches just for the heck of it, and 1 month later, it is still sharp and cuts ribbons from paper. I never leave home with out this little multi-tasker! Never leave home with out my CASE!

Perfect "gentleman's" (or gentlewoman's) knife
I had this identical knife, with different scales (sides). I LOST IT! I was naked without it, as I carried it everywhere. Now, bear in mind, I have maybe 3 or 4 dozen other pocket knives, by none compare to the size and tactile feel of this one. I found it on Amazon and being Prime, it was quickly ordered. The replacement knife is identical in all respects to the first. The quality of Case, in my opinion, is as good as any available and probably far better than virtually all competitors. Add to that fact that the pricing is still competitive for a "Made in the USA" product. The knife arrived sharp, but I gave it a bit a honing to bring it to razor sharp. That was several months ago, and the edge retention has been superb.Buy it - you'll love it!

Fits nicely in your pocket and strong and sharp enough for day to day use.
The Texas Toothpick is the perfect walking around pocket knife. Its small enough to fit in your pocket comfortably and strong and sharp enough to handle day to day activities. From opening mail envelopes and packages to cutting a slice from an apple or jerky. I find it more comfortable lately than hanging my multi-tool off my belt. The white with red logo looks great as well. I don’t like too much stuff on my pocket, but this is not something bulky that’l bug you all day. Great gift or something for yourself.
