I was so happy to find these bulbs on Amazon. I was frustrated trying to find these in the stores without luck. They are a bugger to change; both getting them out and putting a new one in. I finally discovered that I had to put it in one side at a time, tipping it to the side and once that side started going in, straighten it and push the other side down. You’d think they would just be push in bulbs but they were not. I almost thought they were not made to the right size, but they were, it’s just has to be finessed. The brightness matches the other bulbs in my chandelier. And it was a great price for 10 of these bulbs, especially considering they are so hard to find.

The heat bulbs work great, but because they get so hot the adapter starts to melt unless it is pointed up. The bulb gives off a good bit of heat. If you have to use an adapter like I did, be sure to watch the adapter for signs of over heating.

Bought mine to heat the pet area in the garage at night. So far, each bulb only lasts a few weeks. However, I noticed that each burnt bulb I replaced was "collapsed". I have the light on a timer. What looks like what happening is that when the timer shuts off during the day, the bulbs cool down too fast after getting super hot at night causing them to collapse. Going to try leaving them on instead and see how long they last then add an update. If your bulb only lasts a few days then you must have touched it. Don't touch the bulb! Your fingers leave an oil mark on the bulb, creating a super hot "spot" and shortening the bulb's life.

They came in a nice sturdy plastic box with a pair of clean gloves for installation. Easy to install. Light quality/lumen matches the original factory bulbs. A lot less expensive than local bulb stores. Highly recommend.

Do not buy these lightbulbs. I put them in my light fixture and they would stay on for a few seconds, then flicker and go out. I would tap them and they’d come on for a few more minutes, then go out. I almost replaced my very expensive light fixture thinking it was shorting out. I decided to try different bulbs first, and the fixture is working perfectly fine. These bulbs are cheap and unreliable and become unbelievably hot.
