Upgraded my toothbrush during the Prime Days deals. Fantastic quality, feels amazing in the hand. I love the improvement in qualities from the brush heads from previous Oral B models (prior to the IO). Cleans teeth well. Much quieter sound when using brush. Functionality is amazing.

My oral health has never been better. I've always used a manual toothbrush but considered using an electric for a while. I spotted this on offer and decided to buy it for me and my husband ( who also just used a manual his whole life ) We have both completely converted to electric toothbrushes now and will never go back. We have both noticed a huge difference in our teeth within a couple of days.The features we love are- Completely guides you through your brushing- Pressure sensor which turns red if you are pressing too hard, green for perfect pressure and white for not enough pressure- The different modes you can brush your teeth- The app gives you 'goals' you can choose such as working on bad breath, stained teeth etc- The app shows you which areas you need to work more on and guides you through this- Battery life is great and lasts a few days without needing charging- You don't have to use the app every time as it automatically syncs your cleans from the brush to the app so you can still check your progress.The features we don't love- The Bluetooth is a bit spotty and doesn't connect all the time to the app so you have to reset it quite often- It's a bit pricey but it's good when its on offer and absolutely worth itOverall, it's absolutely worth it. Especially if you struggle with bad breath or you miss areas when you brush. If you want to feel like you've just been to the dentist after every clean then I highly recommend this toothbrush. I'm actually confident enough to smile showing teeth now as it gets rid of stains and keeps teeth squeaky clean!

The Oral-B iO5 electric toothbrushes deliver solid cleaning performance with multiple modes and effective teeth whitening. The two-handle pack and travel case make it convenient for couples or travel.That said, the price feels quite high for what you get. The Bluetooth connection mostly just tracks brushing time and helps with timing edits, which feels a bit gimmicky. If you’re not into the app features, the Bluetooth is unnecessary. The brushes themselves work well, but overall, I expected more innovation for the cost.

This toothbrush is great, and got it on prime day so it’s really good value for money in that sense - very expensive otherwise. Easy too use with lots of functionality and the built in timer is a good indicator for brushing. Seems to need charging more regularly now I have had it a while but that’s fine.

The Oral-B iO5 Electric Toothbrush is the quietest electric toothbrush I’ve ever used, and it delivers an exceptional clean, you truly feel like you’ve just visited the dentist.The toothbrush has excellent battery life and comes with a sleek travel case. However, there are a couple of downsides: older Oral-B brush heads don’t fit this model (though my children use the older brushes, so the heads won’t go to waste), and it only comes with one head. Replacement heads are also pricier than the older ones. Despite this, the cleaning performance and overall quality make it a worthwhile investment and it definitely deserves 5 stars.

My old electric toothbrush has just given up the ghost so I found myself scrolling Amazon to find a suitable replacement. When I saw this, I thought I’d give it a go to see if it’d live up to the hype.I clicked the io5 into my ‘Buy it Now’ and eagerly waited its delivery.It came quickly, I was expecting just a small box so I was delighted to see the slick packaging full of everything I’d need to get my io5 going. Complete with charging cable, the brush, the brush head, instructions, travel case and brush case. I was impressed to see the travel cases as it’s something I definitely need! I love the fact that I can pack my io5 hygienically up in seconds and get going without having to buy any additional accessories!As I unboxed the main brush, I knew instantly that this was an elite model. The smooth, suaveness of it made it feel very premier and unlike anything I’ve seen before. The digital display is a great addition too. I clicked on my brush head and instantly gave my new toothbrush a go!It took me a couple of seconds to realise how the Bluetooth works for the brush but I quickly paired my brush to my phone with the help of the easy instructions and a world that I didn’t know existed opened up in tiny app form. The oral B app is amazing, it allows me to track my duration of clean but, more importantly, how well I’ve cleaned each section of my mouth. I love how it breaks each area of my mouth into sections and makes it much more manageable!I scrolled through the different settings and found my favourite, it’s amazing how you can completely tailor the brush to your needs with 5 different programmes to choose from!As I began to use my new brush, I really enjoyed the way that I could track my progress on my phone to ensure a really good clean, my teeth felt immaculate after! There’s so many different journeys for your teeth health you can access via the app too, they’re so personalised and easy to follow at the click of a button.Although the higher end of the market, this brush is such a great purchase, worth the price and an utter game changer! Even my pre teen will use this, with a fresh head of course, and not make a fuss over brushing his teeth! I am definitely converted and won’t ever go back!

Ok. To be fair I never do reviews. But this deserves one. I've used an electric braun for years, but this is first new one in decades. Worth every penny. Mouth feels likes it's had a pressure wash and is half as quiet as me old one..... feels faster and gives a deeper fresher clean. Maybe it's the brush I don't know but if you're thinking about it...... get one you won't be sorry. Download the app to it does help.
