My daughter asked for a microscope for her 7th birthday. While browsing I came upon this book and bought it as a complimentary present. The book is great and gives loads of ideas on what to look at under the microscope.

Fantastic book, highly recommended
Purchased for an 8 year old as a birthday gift to accompany a hand held microscope. Haven't given it yet but have glanced through it and I'm certainly fascinated.... Very accessible language for an 8 year old with adult support for the odd word here and there. Lots of interesting, high quality images with examples from the home, food, plants, animals, human bodies and 'in the ground'. The book includes plenty of suggestions for easy at home activities. Would likely be of interest to older children too.

Microscope Book
The book is very Educational, I brought it for my Grandson to go with his Microscope, I havn't had chance to ask him if he has used it yet, but he was pleased with the book.

A Great Gift for Children confronting the Microscopic.
This was a very nice gift for a school child confronted by a hand held microscope, in that case for Christmas, according to parents. We enjoyed looking at its well composed pages.

Very educational.
I am 76, using grandson,s microscope, I didn't realise life is all around, in very minute form.Fascinating!!!! The book explains it clearly, with actual photos and hands on experiments. 10/10 (I am in my second childhood again)

I bought this book for my niece when I bought her her first microscope and she absolutely loved it. It's got great information both about how microscopes work as well as what things look like under microscope and I highly recommend it for that science kiddo in your life
