Bought this to replace our very old spring loaded rice cooker, on the recommendation of someone on instagram who uses one a lot (not an ad, a genuine recommendation). I might be being hyperbolic but this rice cooker has changed my life 😂 Absolutely obsessed with it. The rice comes out perfect every time, its easy to use, easy to clean, and the ability to just ‘set and go’ is great. It definitely takes longer than a pan, but it keeps it warm so you could steam it in advance if needed, or set the timer (which I haven't tried yet). If you're considering buying one, Id highly recommend. Perfect for 2 people but could easily do a family of 4 (I usually do enough for leftovers/meal prep with 2 cups) if you also wanted to co-steam in the basket though, you’d only really be able to do enough rice for a single meal. Jesus what a diatribe about a rice cooker - totally worth it, would recommend to anyone who eats rice frequently.

I absolutely love this item. It has made my life so much easier! We are a family of 3 adults and this is the perfect size for us. We cook rice everyday so this has paid for itself in time and effort. I love the keep warm feature. It is so easy to operate. Even the least technical person would have no trouble with it. I like that the inside of the pot has the measurements for the water so no guessing required. It beebs when it is done and then will keep the rice warm until you are ready for it. It cooks quickly too. I have not cooked anything else but for me it is worth every penny for the rice alone. In terms of aesthetics it is a perfect size. I was surprised by how small it is but it’s perfect in terms of capacity and doesn’t take up much room. I bought the sage and white version which is very pretty and suits my kitchen colour scheme. All in all a great purchase.

I never know how long to cook rice for, or how much water to use to get it cooked just right so it's always left to my wife as she can cook it to perfection. I purchased a small cheap rice cooker years ago but found it very hit and miss so it got sold as I never tended to use it. I purchased this to enable me to cook my own rice dishes once again. There were cheaper rice cookers but I went for this one based on the positive reviews. I'm glad I did because this little cooker works a treat. It is so simple to use that I can't see how you can go wrong. My sone loves rice but is such a fussy eater. Even he says that this cooks the best rice, so that must be saying something. I like that you can throw other things in whilst cooking the rice and I quite often put in sweetcorn, peppers, peas and cherry tomatoes. You can even crack an egg into it and it will cook the egg whilst the rice cooks - great for egg fried rice. Following cooking, there is a keep warm function which lasts unto 24 hours. This is perfect as it allows me to continue cooking other food without the risk of having to time everything perfectly or risk having the rice go cold. This device is tiny but will do plenty of rice up to around 4 people or so. The inner pan in non stick so you just remove it and simply clean it which takes a few seconds and you're done ready for next time. It comes with a rice measuring cup and 2 spoons, one for stirring and dishing up and another soup ladle. The only negative that I can find with this is that the cooker detects how much rice and water you've put in so automatically calculates the exact amount of cooking time for you. However, it doesn't indicate how long your rice is going to take to cook but you soon get to know this if you tend to cook the same portion each time like I do. I think it gives you a 5 minute countdown timer before the end but then starts counting up the minutes when it's being kept warm. Highly recommended though and definitely worth paying a little extra for a good rice cooker like this.

I am absolutely rubbish at making rice, I can never get it just right, this little machine however made it to perfection!!! The rice was lovely and fluffy!! Smelt good while cooking. I will defo be having more rice now, it’s just dead easy!! Follow the instructions, cups of rice to cups of water, turn it on and away you go. While it may take longer to cook than if you did it yourself, this doesn’t bother me as I can just prep everything else I need for my meal while this is cooking but that might not suit everyone. as it’s only small, it doesn’t take up much room and the buttons are easy to control and navigate. I love it!!! You can also steam in it too.

Had this about a year now, maybe a bit longer, and it's become an essential part of my kitchen. It's basically just me, so one cup of rice is fine, but it can handle two or three easily. If I was feeding a crowd I'd probably go bigger, but for me this is perfect. I had a Russell Hobbs before this (and that was big) but it burnt the rice, spat a lot, and then died less than a year in. So I remembered, 'buy nice or buy twice'. I bought twice. I now eat brown rice because this thing cooks it perfectly. The better the rice, the better it cooks. It doesn't like the really cheap stuff, which it overcooks a little bit. It isn't quick either, hence the one lost star. But otherwise it's been fantastic. It never burns. If you're busy it's one and done, and keeps the rice warm too. It's been great. Simple recommend. If it's big enough, buy!

Amazing cooker for so much more than rice. It's so easy to use and versatile, I wish I'd bought one earlier. The functions for rice are all spot on if you follow the instructions and measurements. Nothing has burned or come out inedible. I've made cakes, slow cooked casseroles, dog chewy treats, bibimbap (only fried egg needed cooking separately), and all sorts of rice. The only time that results were not totally perfect was with bomba rice. A quick search using AI brought the solution and incredibly the rice could be salvaged without it becoming gloopy. Truly a beast in the kitchen, and it's even cute and beautiful to look at with its kawaii animal shape. I'd buy it again, no qualms.

This is a fantastic rice cooker. Stylish, effective and easy to use, it ticks all the boxes for me. The sleek white minimalistic design and shape makes it look very futuristic and blends well in any kitchen. It's very lightweight and the size of it makes it surprisingly easy to store away after use. Compared to my last rice cooker, this is around 2/3rd the size and weight, which makes it much more convenient. It does however, still feel very durable and of excellent quality with a sturdy shell and inner basket. It's very easy to use. The manual is quite extensive for multiple different options, but the basic use of it is very simple. It comes with a small cup to put your rice in and the inside of the cooker shows the water level needed for the amount of rice, which makes it very easy to get the right quantity. There's a steam filter which you can also use to steam vegetables. It's easy to use with the panel, select the option you want and start it up, very simple and quick. The display shows when it is cooking and then when it has 10 minutes left, and beeps when it's done. You can easily leave this without supervision, which is one of my favourite features of a rice cooker, and there's not been any mess at all when using it and leaving it. The quality of the rice is excellent, really lovely and fluffy, especially if you wash it well beforehand. It takes around 30-40 minutes for a couple of portions, which is good for the quality cook you get with this. It's got lots of different options for different types of rice, which makes this very versatile, and the vegetable steaming also works great. Everything smells good and the steam clears away nicely by running it underneath the ventilation. I've found it's nice and easy to clean out with the non-stick basket inside, mainly with a rinse out first then in the dishwasher gets it spotless. This is very pricey compared to more basic rice cookers I've seen, but it's definitely worth it if you can afford it and you eat rice regularly. The quality is far superior to other cookers I've used and the design is much sleeker and more convenient for storage. A first rate item. Highly recommended.

I will start by saying that this is small. But mighty. It cooks the rice to perfection and fluffy. We have always wanted on of these rice cookers but was always bias about trying them. My wife and I eat a lot of rice and this was the perfect choice for us as there is only two of us. We only use one cup of rice at a time as that is plenty for us two. It is so easy to follow the instructions as the manual that comes with it is very informative and before you know it with just a few button presses you will be cooking rice in no time at all. I just love everything about this Yum Panda rice cooker. The clean up is great the top steem housing, Inner lid plate, Bowl and drip cap at the rear all can be removed for easy cleaning. It comes with a detachable power cord and that I like as it can be tucked away in my kitchen draw with the supplied utensils. Once I have cleaned it up up I leave the measuring jug supplied inside the unit just for the next time. The display is bright and clear and easy to read and follow. The Panda cooker tooks away in the corner of my worktop as it has a small footprint. There is a steaming basket that comes with it to but I have not used it yet. All in all This was one of our best buy's of the year.

Easy, simple. I can make one pot meals easily for 3-4 people and steam veggies in the metal steamer while the rice cooks. I’m going to try lentils and quinoa in there next. This rice cooker has made my life easier

Hace poco que compré este producto y estoy encantada. Voy a ir parte por parte: DISEÑO: La arrocera es muy compacta, esteticamente muy bonita, parecida a las arroceras asiáticas pequeñas. Además, tiene un asa para poder transportarla y no pesa casi nada. COCINADO DEL ARROZ: De momento solo he probado el modo rápido, ya que es lo que me sale más rentable por tiempo, y comentaros (ya que no lo pone por ninguna parte excepto si vais e investigáis en el manual del producto antes de comprarlo) que la opción de "quick cook" (o cocinado rápido) tarda aproximadamente entre 22 y 25 min (añadiendo el agua ya caliente del grifo). Puedes cocinar hasta 3.5 tazas (del medidor que trae en el pack) que es para 1-3 personas. Yo he cocinado media y 1 taza. Diría que media se queda un poco corto si te lo vas a comer solo eso o que es ideal para una persona acompañado con mas ingredientes. Una taza entera para una persona es una barbaridad, a mi gusto. A menos que comas mucho. Lavas el arroz 2 o 3 veces para quitarle exceso de almidón, lo metes en el bol de la arrocera y llenas con agua hasta el nivel que necesites (si has puesto una taza de arroz blanco, llenas hasta justo por debajo de la línea del número 1 de la escala de arroz blanco). Seleccionas el "quick cook" y esperas. No te saldrá cuánto tiempo le queda de cocción hasta que sólo le queden 10 mins. Y te vas a hacer otras cosas, te olvidas de la arrocera, sin miedo a que se queme cosa que es maravillosa. Cuando acaba emite un pitido y la abres con cuidado del vapor (aunque ya habra expulsado la mayoría) y separas el arroz con la cuchara que trae. Nunca de hierro o metal, por favor. El arroz queda prácticamente perfecto, se nota cada grano pero queda pegadito perfecto para quien lo quiera comer con palillos, y si lo separas se queda sueltecito. Es otro mundo a hacerlo al fuego, os lo aseguro. De momento no he probado más modos, pero actualizaré la reseña cuando lo haga.

È semplicemente perfetta per chi ha poco tempo. Un limite definirla cuociriso perché si possono fare minestre di verdura, porridge perfetti, yogurt, cottura a vapore, torta margherita. Cottura ceci perfetta ( ovviamente con ammollo precedente) in 40 minuti. Si pesa , si accende e via fa tutto da sola. Facile da pulire. Dimensioni compatte è fatta per stare sempre sul piano cucina. Ideale da uno a tre persone al massimo. Ho impiegato mesi prima di decidere ma devo dire che vale ampiamente il prezzo. Se fate la torta non aspettatevi la parte alta dorata , ma i lati e il fondo si. E il sapore e la cottura sono perfetti.

Een geweldige rijstoker. Compact en mooi vormgegeven. Der rijst is nog nooit zo goed gelukt. Bij 3,5 kop rijst is dit ruim voldoende voor 4 personen. Niet de goedkoopste, wel de beste. Alleen bezorging laat te wensen over, geen goede communicatie over bezorgmoment maar dat komt door Amazon.
