A GREAT addition to your reloading.
A real time saver. I love this product. Give it a 15 to 30 minute warm up and follow the calibration procedures, throw a few charges and return them to the hopper and you are off to the races.Throws accurate for ball/spherical as well as extruded powders. Pay attention, don't get in too big of a hurry, check and make sure there is no powder collecting outside of the pan (ball powder tends to bounce out) on around the platen. I would also recommend not seating your bullets (or causing a vibration) on your mounting bench as the dump is taking place or trickling in at the end of its cycle. It seems to "learn" the charge and will take less time as you progress. One last thing...When adjusting, watch where you place your hands (big old clumsy hands) as you can inadvertently touch the on/off switch with your little finger (knuckle). All in all a very nice tool. Can shoot sub MOA groups.

So far it is dead nuts accurate
After a little lengthy warm up (20 minutes) I have run several different powders I use from flake to ball to extruded and the machine handled them all well from a few grains to several hundred grains with just a couple of caveats. Static cling is a real issue with this all plastic machine in my arid New Mexico climate. Powder clings to every surface which becomes an issue when emptying and cleaning the powder reservoir. Tried the used dryer sheet trick but no joy. Powder drain is a pain unless you move the machine to the bench edge and drain into a funnel to container. A tray under the drain overfills quickly if draining a large amount of powder if not watched closely because in order to fit under the drain opening the tray has to be very shallow. Otherwise, it dispensed all my powders quickly and accurately as verified with another digital scale as well as a balance beam scale. This should be a real boon when loading extruded powder in the 200 plus grain range for 50 BMG rounds which has been a tedious task with a hand trickler. Every load has been exactly at or within + or - .01 grain as advertised. If any other issues arise I will update review but so far I would definitely recommend this tool for your bench.

So Far So Great
Very simple to operate. Very accurate. I warmed it up for a full 25 minutes and ran it against my beam scale over an over again and it was dead on every time. The Directions that come with it are typical useless RCBS directions. To use the device I suggest you watch a few videos. One thing I'll point out is that there is a leveling bubble. The directions do not mention this feature nor do they explain its importance. You'll figure out most of it out though. Just make sure to use the adjustable feet (also not mentioned in the "directions") to level the device for good results. Since, I throw most of my ball powders, I bought the Chargemaster Lite specifically to deal with stick powders. So far I have loaded only about a hundred rounds with the Chargemaster Lite, but so far it works like a champ. I gave it 4 stars for value because I had to pay appreciably more to get it through Amazon. So far it performs great.

Should have bought long ago!
Wonderful scale! It is quick to setup and a breeze to operate. I had previously been loading my rifle rounds using the Lee auto drum and weighing every forth charge to ensure accuracy which was always close but not bang on.The Chargemaster lite is compact and throws an accurate charge. It takes a little a 15 - 30 seconds to throw a charge for your rifle cartridges depending on the density of powder. TrailBoss is pretty slow but expected as it weighs nothing.I wish you could adjust the settings as with the Chargemaster full size. I feel it starts trickle mode a little early and one could probably shave 5-10 seconds off each charge if you were able to adjust it.I now exclusively use my Lee Auto Drum for pistol loads and high volume rifle loads (223). The Chargemaster lite has been a great upgrade for me and as everyone else who likes it I wish I would have upgraded long ago!

One of the best reloading tools I've ever bought!
I absolutely love this scale. Though it can be a little slow at times, I'll trade accuracy for speed any day. I've dispensed nearly 1,000 charges now and I've only had a couple that were .1 off. I simply dumped and re-dispensed. I let it warm up while I prime my brass then calibrate. I throw two or three charges before I begin production. After it's done dispensing I always wait for the charge count and let it return to the weight just to ensure nothing has changed. It has screw legs so easy to level. It can be affected by moving air from a ceiling fan or other sources. I've watched this scale drop individual pieces of powder to achieve the proper weight. Fairly easy to clean, but the brush that ships with it is pretty cheesy. Wiping the inside of the bin with a clothes drier cloth like Bounce will help prevent static cling of powder. CAUTION: Make sure the clean out door is closed before dumping powder in the bin! You'll regret it if you don't. Great piece of equipment that I highly recommend. Would definitely buy again.
