I purchased this unit a while ago. It worked great then started giving me trouble. The return window had closed so I didn't attempt a return. I hastily wrote a negative review instead of contacting the seller first for a solution. After I wrote my review and gave them 1 star, the company reached out to me. They offered to replace the unit at no additional cost to me. They didn't have to do that. They care about customer satisfaction and stand by their products. I will 1000% purchase from this company again. Thank you! Thank you! The new flash works beautifully and just in time...I have a shoot tomorrow! Amazing service!!

I recently received the flash and am very pleased so far. (I'm mostly using it for macro photography using a sync cable and remote shutter release.) It is simple to use and I like the manual selection of output power. The flash head rotates up & down and left & right which makes it great for tabletop work. Recycle time is fast. My only negative is the battery compartment cover seems to be a little bit fragile and may be easily damaged when trying to close it after inserting batteries - so be careful with that. Hopefully the unit will pass the test of time.

Is an amaizing flash. Reecomended...

Simple and straightforward to operate. All manual settings, nothing automatic. Capable of several burst-mode exposures in a row without waiting to recycle. Powerful enough to meet all my (non-professional) needs. The only problem I have found is that the battery compartment cover is very difficult to open and close. Requires too much force at exactly the right angle. If you have to do a quick battery change in the middle of a shoot, struggling with the battery cover could cause you to miss some shots.

I'm a professional photographer who is still on a budget. I have nice lighting for my in my studio but I really needed something for my on location sessions. As much as I wanted to I didn't have a crazy amount of money to spend. Then I came across this flash. As I do before I purchase anything online I read a bunch of the reviews and everyone is right, this is an amazing flash at an amazing price. It's not one of those "you get what you payed for situations". I believe that this flash is way better then what you paid for. Pair it with a soft box and you are set! An important thing with flashes with me is the recharge time. With often shooting small children I needed a flash that could match with a fast shutter speed and this one does the trick. Another worry of mine was that it would go through batteries crazy fast, but I was pleasantly surprised when it didn't. Haven't done a session without it since my purchase! Shipping was fast (I don't have prime with two day shipping) and the packaging was great! The over all quality of the flash is amazing as well. In my personal opinion it feels well made and not of cheap plastic. Another perk is it doesn't add too much excessive weight to your camera causing you to create camera shake. I would definitely reccomend this to both amateur and professional photographers.

It was a nice flash but it only lasted 6 months. It now turns on but won’t flash. Even with new batteries. UPDATE: the company contacted me personally to offer a refund and replacement. I will update again when it arrives but I’m impressed!

It's worked very well and has diferents modes and flash intensity.

We run an online retail store and take about 1000 photos per week. If you forget to press the “off” button (which we always do) the flash will continually send radio signals to the external umbrellas flash and run the batteries out overnight. We end up using about 12-15 batteries a week and they are EXPENSIVE because of this flaw. Furthermore, the flash only lasted a few years before it wore out. This seems to be normal with most off brand flashes.

Son very happy with the flash. It also has adapters for other camera fittings too.
