zero problems over 5 years
I have had this monitor for 5 years now with 0 issues. I have used it for work, school, and many other applications. I currently use it for a Golf Sim. It had stood the test of time, if you just need a monitor that you can trust without the pricey gaming features this is it.

Great option - Very durable
I've had this monitor for 5 years and now that it's been a while since I've transitioned it to my second monitor, I couldn't be any happier. No dead pixels, color is very accurate compared to my 99% DCI-P3 1440p monitor. Yeah the sound isn't good but I never really used it. This has been a great durable budget option.

Low watt usage and no plastic break-in smell
I use the stand for reading PDF music in portrait mode, and love it. This swivel feature is something I always wanted to have but never did. I should have gotten it before. The height adjustment is also nice to have for when you want to stand up and do things and still see the computer screen well. I wouldn't mind if it tilted a little more than it does. But the height adjustment and change to portrait mode is smooth and easy to use once you get used to it.I plugged it into my watt meter and it uses only 9.7 watts, and the case stays very cool, especially compared to my older TN flat panel, which also had a fault of being too bright, even at the zero brightness setting. This monitor has a good range. I also believe 23.8" is the perfect size for desktop viewing, when you want to see everything well, but not have a wall of light in front of you. And, of course, the size and image are fine at this full HD resolution. Not even one day of plastic smell or break-in odor, which has been a negative feature of pretty much every monitor I've had in the past. My current TV stunk for months. This monitor, no heat, no odor. It is beautifully designed.Eventually, I will get a 4k monitor, but I've learned that it's better to wait, and prices come down a lot and they perfect making them. And getting a 4k monitor also would mean needing a computer with good graphics card which can handle it, and I don't need or want a super duper computer for a few years, or until I see how great the new version of flight simulator will be when it comes out in 2020.Warning: If you plug this in, Windows 10 senses what model it is, but the driver doesn't take full effect until you restart your computer. This flickered and had motion blur on videos until I restarted the computer and then it worked fine. What a relief! The thin matte black border is perfect, as it is non-reflective, and just enough edge to hold onto without touching the screen, while changing position of the monitor.

Works very well with Mac and CCTV Security System
I've been using this a month or so. Very satisfied. This monitor has good color, and even good sound. Not at all a "tinny" or metallic sound like some said. Maybe they have improved that since the older reviews. It isn't a high dollar sound system, but is quite sufficient. Does not cause eye fatigue. Very good picture. It has LOTS of easy-to-figure-out settings to adjust according to your preferences. Basically, plug and play. I had to do a quick search online regarding a setting on my computer because initially, it sort of spread out things so much I could not see my desktop shortcuts. That was an issue with my laptop settings. Not the monitor. Also, I found that it was a little slow right at first when I was setting it up, so when I made a change, I had to wait several seconds for it to do it. But once I got everything adjusted to work with my laptop, it works quickly and perfectly.I'm not high tech at all, and it worked pretty easily out of the box with a few adjustments of the image settings. I use it with a 2013 MacBook Pro (because my laptop has a broken display), and as a monitor for a cctv security system. In order to view optimally, I have to go to the Image Control setting, and then turn the "Overscan" setting to on or off, depending on whether I'm using it as a computer monitor or for the security system. That's a very simple adjustment, even for somebody as low tech as me. Ideally, I'd have two of these so I don't have to switch back and forth.I'm very satisfied. No problems with this monitor. Came very-well packaged. This is a really great monitor, especially for the price!
