Shade fabric is usually fairly expensive. These are good quality, fair price and work great. This small size allows me to easily move around garden as needed. Help stop sun scorch on my tomatoes. Ordered more. I do wish they had more grommets

This inexpensive product makes a good alternative to the robot lawn mower "garage" panel offered by the manufacturer, as it blocks 90% of sun, and still allows the robot's rain sensor to detect rain while parked. The manufacturer's $169 "garage" panel is a solid sheet that attaches to the charging base station and is cantilevered over the robot, but in my case, a few drill holes in the lip of our plastic planter box, and a couple of stakes, combined with the few yards of nylon rope that comes with this shade cloth, and I made a shelter for the robot that is much cheaper and should protect it from all but the most severe weather (e.g. large hail), while letting the Anthbot M9's top-mounted rain sensor work as intended while in the dock. The 2'x3.3' size of this panel seems almost perfect for the job, without any modification.

It is strong and well made - worked like a charm for my tiny transplants under the broiling hot sun. I'm so glad I tried something new - shade cloth strung up on the hog panel in my garden!

This was the perfect fix for blocking a small section of sun that hits my doves aviery at a hot time of the day. Made well, easy to put up and looks nice. The 2ft x 3ft size was a great find as I was thinking of having to cut something bigger down.

Purchased these to help block a SW facing upstairs balcony from direct afternoon sun on plants and help with the heat in living room. I'm in a rental and there is nowhere to attach because all points are aluminum rather than wood so I purchased longer rope and tied these through the loop holes top and bottom so I can slide them side to side depending on where the sun is. I initially tried a larger cloth but it was too heavy for the rope and sagged but 2 smaller cloths next to each other with the center top rope pinned with a zip tie to a double stick deal from HD and it works. It's not perfect, but it does what I need it to do without spending too much money and the heat on the balcony and in the apt is noticeably less.

6/9/26: Need to DIY a sun shade over my windows facing West. The sun is incredibly hot in the summer desert months and the indoor temps are suffering in the west-facing windows. I thought of a quick and cheap solution that I could do myself. I can't drill into bricks but I sure can cut the cloth into the dimensions I needed and installed grommets. Then hooked the completed shade cloth over my window by using extra strong magnetic hook. Pulled it somewhat taught. Hopefully it will withstand the occasional strong winds. Will update when the cloth disintegrates due to sun damage. Unfortunately the cloth does not come rolled up and there are a lot of fold lines.

This is the perfect size for our mini chicken coop. It helps to keep the space shaded from the blaring afternoon sun.

Bought this UV shade for a perennial on a trellis. The plants was in full sun prior to the shade cloth being installed and the plant was already dying back. We were not able to save the plant so will try again with the shade cloth installed from the fist sign of growth next year. Will update this review then.
