Opens up a whole new field of vision, however the adjustable stem is a little long
When my son was an infant it was very hard to find a place to put the baby monitor and have a good field of vision. As he got older this became even more of a problem since he would sometimes get out of bed and sleep in random parts of his room. For the longest time we left the camera sitting on a book shelf and dealt with the limited viewing angles. Well I tried this mount and it was very convenient and it really gives you the flexibility to see just about any angle you want. Now I can easily position the camera to maximize my viewing angles and camera placement. My only complaint with this mount is how long the stem is. Because it is so long it tends to protrude into the room and make the camera just kind of hang out in space. Thankfully the clip is very strong and provides padded grips to keep everything in place. If I had one recommendation it would be to make the stem more like 6 inches instead of the foot or more that it is now. This way you get the flexibility to angle the camera, but without it dangling in space. Some would ask well can't you just coil the stem in order to make it smaller. Well that is the positive and negative about this mount. The stem is very rigid, which makes it stay in place very well. However, it also makes it hard to make any tight turns and takes work to get it positioned. Maybe with enough time and patience it could be coiled, but the radius would probably be pretty large.Overall I am happy with this and was able to make it work. I am sure once I get used to the camera hanging out from the bookcase it will just fade away into the background.

Perfect!
I've been looking for a good way to get an aerial view for my camera in a corner of the room without setting up anything permanent and this is pretty much the best solution. The camera mounts on securely and the goose neck can be bent exactly how you want - and doesn't bend over from the weight of the camera. I did wrap the power cable along the neck to keep it from hanging around, then through the clip as it held onto a shelf ledge before down to an extension cable to keep everything looking clean. The clamp itself could use a little improvement, I feel that you need something pretty thick to keep it held down snugly but I added a small rubber shim and the connection is perfect now. This is something that should have just come with the camera by default, for how much it improves the viewing angle.

Sturdy clip and strong flexible rod
We had been keeping the baby camera perched on the corner of the crib. It usually worked, but sometimes it would get bumped off onto the floor. We especially struggled with how to “perch” the camera when using the portable crib. This clip mount works great! Because the clip opens up to almost 2” we can put it anywhere on the crib. The camera easily slides into the mounting tray, and connects to it by a “pin” and hole, with an adhesive strip, too. The camera easily pivots to point anywhere in the crib by bending the gooseneck rod.

Yip Yip for This Clip
This clip is deceptively effective and extremely useful. The clip has a strong grasp on the crib wall. The flexible gooseneck body is malleable enough to position it the way you want, but stiff enough to hold its form. My baby monitor fits perfectly on the mount. There hasn't been any migration of the camera when sitting on the mount. Great tool. Don't hesitate to purchase.

Looks good
So. I didn’t pay close enough attention and sadly this doesn’t work for our camera. Totally my fault. The product itself though looks really well made, the pieces feel durable, and the clip is really strong. I’m giving it 5 stars because if it was the right one for our camera, I’d be very happy to use this.
