I've had no issues with this soap mold and guide, except that I can't cut straight 😅 The soap comes out easily, I usually chill it before removing. It's easy to clean. The quality is good for the price, should last me a while.

I think this is a good cutter for a beginning/recreational soap maker, but if you are looking to start a business and or cut a high-volume of soaps you probably want something that cuts a little more accurately.The package came well-packaged in the manufacturer's box. I picked this up at an Amazon Hub, but if this was going through UPS, FedEx, etc I would prefer that it be double boxed. The quality of the materials seems very good.The cutting slat at the 0 mark is for the crinkle cutter and the cutting slat at the 3 mark is for the straight cutter. One thing that sort of baffles is me is that they didn't print guide marks for the crinkle cuts all the way across the base of the cutter. That would really help to insure straight cuts. in addition, the actually guide that screws to the bottom fo the cutter does loosen a little bit as you make the cuts and readjust the bar/loaf, so you'll have to retighten it and check for straightness every few cuts.The inside dimensions are 3.25 (in) wide x 2.75 (in) tall. The loaves I cut are 3 inches wide. Anything wider would be a tight fit and hard to work with IMO. You probably don't want to try to cut anything taller than 2.5 inches, otherwise I think you'd have a hard time aligning the cutter in the cutting slats.Not all of the guide marks are accurate (at least against my ruler), but the ones for metric seem the most accurate. Using the crinkle cutter would definitely be more forgiving. I want to be able to cut in a variety of widths, and I've seen people mark the top of these types of cutters with pencil, markers, painter's tape etc. to use as a guide. I think that's what I'll have to do.Some of my cuts the width varied between the top of the bar and the bottom of the bar. This causes some of my bars to have a slight curve. There is a little bit of play in the cutting slats, so it's hard to cut precisely straight up and down.As I say, I think this is a good set-up for beginning and recreational soap makers, but if you have an eye at starting a business you will want to eventually graduate to something else.

The wooden box hold the silicone mold sturdy with the soap in it and the lid is nice to cover it while it cures for a few days. The cutters work very well. The cutting box makes sure that every bar cut is of equal size and weight. Very nice

This could not be described any other way than perfect. It literally has everything you need. The blades are also nice and sharp to do the job well but not too sharp to hurt if you accidentally scrape your finger. Well done.

Can't say enough about this set! Just starting my soap making and was surprised at the quality of this set! Even my experienced soap friends were impressed by the quality! Just beginning - this is a great kit for you!

Everything works great except for the soap cutting box. It cuts every bar uneven. Thinner on top, fatter on the bottom. 😕
