Provision-ISR Premium Dash Cam, 3" LCD Full HD 1080p, Easy DIY Installation, Car Camera DVR Recorder with G-Sensor, Loop Recording and Wide Angle

I bought this Dash Cam because I transport customers around in my personal vehicle.This is a personal protection device to me. I drive in a major city often and trust me they drive insane. It has easy setup instructions for installation. This Provision=ISR Premium Dash Cam is a great little Camera that is small in size and perfect for not causing any vision impairments. This camera is good for recording,taking pictures, and a video cam. This camera will shut off when car is turned off and turn on when car comes on. The quality of the picture/video are really good. I love the 140 degree wide angle and that it is in a aluminum casing.The only downfall about the camera is that it doesn't come with a SD card which you need to operate, but not big deal to purchase one. It can use up to a 32gb micro sd card.

Just received the camera today. It seems to be well made and packaged and fairly simple to set up. Image quality is great. I really don't know how well it will perform on the road as I only just got it, but going on build quality I think it will do fine.I would have given it five stars if the instruction booklet had been better. It really isn't a booklet just a folded sheet of paper. I found the font to be way too small and my eyesight is not bad. The specification charts were even smaller. This instruction set is important for easy use. Please use a bigger more readable font. I downloaded the manual from their website in PDF form at least I can enlarge it on the computer but this should not be necessary.

The camera is small but seems to be of good quality. The bracket securing the camera is held in place by a plastic nut which came loose causing the camera to hit the dashboard and go flying. I could not find all the parts and it may have flown out the window. So I called customer service. They told me to call someone else, who told me to call someone else who said they would check on it and call me back. They never did even though I went through the same routine again and got the same empty promise. If anything is wrong with your purchase or ever goes wrong with your camera these guys have a strong track record of never lifting a finger to help you. Do yourself a favor and buy a different brand of camera.

The lens on the "camera" is NOT adjustable. It is fixed. The first time I tried to tighten the nut around the "ball" for the bracket, the plastic split. It will not tighten and it wants to go on skewed, which means it will not tighten. I tried to mount it to my windshield behind the mirror, only to have the entire contraption crash onto the dashboard. I have already returned a Mirror Cam HD only to find out the charger also had a cheap plastic part that was split (before I got it) and wouldn't tighten. The "website" for the Provision-ISR included in the "Instructions" is for a home/commercial camera for the side of a building! The instructions have mis-spellings and don't even address some features or how to use or set them up. It is NOT a plug and play item as suggested in the description. I believe I will be returning this one as well.

Well I ordered another dash cam, this one and seems nice but I might be received a used one. The lens have finger prints and the view screen is scratched also didn't receive the special offer, a magnetic phone holder. There shoulda been a peel off lens/screen protector for me to peel but none. I'll give it a try and see how it operates.

I love this! I bought two dash cams(one for each vehicle). A couple years ago while waiting in line to get my daughter from school (waiting my turn in a left turn lane) a lady went around me the line in the right hand lane and turned left in front of me right as I was pulling into the parking lot, so I hit the side of her car. If there hadn’t been witnesses there I would have looked at fault. After that, I wanted a camera but they were all so expensive. I finally broke down and got this one to try as it was pretty inexpensive and had good reviews. It works very well! The only thing is it doesn’t come with an SD card, so you’ll want to get one.

I bought this almost exactly a year ago. It works fairly well and was easy to set up. It has an issue where it would freeze after a while. After a long drive (usually about an hour or more is when I'd most notice it), I frequently notice video is frozen by the end of the trip, and I never knew when it stopped. It's bothersome, but not a deal breaker since the vast majority of my trips were much shorter than that. Aside from that, video quality is decent, and setup was easy. Solid purchase for the price.UPDATE: An issue I reported before was an embarrassing user error, so I'm changing my score. Still having issues with the video freezing, though, which is certainly not user error.

The item isn't working straight out of the box. Don't bother calling or try tech support. Press 4 it says no voicemail call again. I try sales for a number but he doesn't have it and wants to me me later. They are in Egypt and have language difficulties.
