It does it's job and is super fast at reading temps. The only issue is it's way too long, so you can't store it in your shirt or jacket pockets. Because it's so long, it falls out. It's also super top heavy.

This is a pretty great thermometer. Only mild complaint is it’s too heavy so when u clip it on ur coat it leans. Some weight to the bottom would makes this feel more premium.

No complaints so far. This item is easy to use and accurate (I believe so). I use it to measure the temperature of my son's food. I want to ensure that my son does NOT each food that is too hot. Food consumed at temperatures above 65 °C may contribute to esophageal cancer. I am trying to avoid that.Shortcoming: I really cannot find the reading in degree C. Only degree F is shown. I have no idea how to interpret degree F. So, this item is not easy for me to use. Every time, I need to search only to convert degree F to degree C. I would suggest that the manufacturer update the product and provide a degree C reading. Not everything knows what degree F is. For that reason, I give this product a four-star.

I use this every day. I work in a busy kitchen where it is necessary to temp constantly. Though it is just a bit long and sticks up worn in my chef coat sleeve, the utility of the length is great. It will reach to the back of the oven, bottom of the pot or probe the large protein cuts with ease. It has a simple on and off button and no other useless functions that just get in the way. The display is also straightforward and easy to read while you're in the weeds. The sleeve has a great temp reference guide and I can see how it would be a great addition to the home kitchen or by the grill when you're looking for the perfect mid-rare.

Great thermometer. My only complaint is it’s too long to wear comfortably on your sleeve.

As a chef, this thermometer is great, however, it is 2 -3" too long to keep on your chef sleeve jacket. If you want to put it on a table or in your chef bag, then it works just as intended.

I wasn't sure I needed this digital meat thermometer, but once I used it on a few steaks and a prime rib roast, I was sold on its accuracy and ease of use. If you follow the guidelines on the package you will get great results, and the toughest part of using it is getting the battery set just right for the first time you use it. The plastic door on the thermometer I received wouldn't seat correctly. The door kept opening and the battery kept falling out. I put a piece of duct tape over it and the problem was solved. All things considered, I'm still glad I bought it as it's very useful.

This has been a lifechanger! I had held off on getting one of these for a long time but finally caved and got one! I am glad I got this one, it is really well designed, easy to use and accurate.

thermo arrived with the package cut open and pen cap missing.... to top it off it just doesn't even work. horrible experience don't buy
