Lovely and classy with a vintage feel
Really cute and well made. The patterned fabric makes them unique and more expensive looking than solid colors imo. The background is basically light bronze brownish pinkish, orange, yellow and white In the flowers and the leaves are a deep bluish green. Over lace is a true white. They are solidly made bit come out of the package a bit stinky and plastic smelling so recommend opening them and the windows inthe morning before trying to sleep with them at night. We put one on my older daughters double/full bed and one on my younger daughters twin loft. We have high ceilings and these still go nearly to the floor!

Love them
So cute and huge. Probably bigger suited for a larger bed like a full size or a queen. I order 2 for the twin beds I got for my daughters. There’s a lot on the floor but that just means when I decide they need bigger beds they’ll still be able to use their canopies… I’m thinking of getting one for myself

Best idea for a small space
I wanted a canopy bed, without actually having room for a canopy bed. This solved that issue. I placed this canopy closer to my head then the center of my bed. Because it’s all one piece of cloth with only one hole, it is a bit different to place around my queen size bed. I ended up cutting the sheer fabric that’s on the top of the canopy in the back so I could better position the canopy between my headboard and mattress. I found it ugly and difficult to actually have the canopy over and behind my headboard, so instead I placed it between my mattress and headboard, which hides my headboard. I however don’t mind that at all. The way you see it in my picture is how it always sits, even when I sleep. It’s just enough to keep my head covered, keeping light out in the morning and I love it. Also the installation was seriously easy, and after 6 months still stuck to the ceiling perfectly.

Amazing Canopy
Exactly what I was looking for. Feels and looks very well made. Zero complaints! Careful with the provided stick-on hanger, it can tear the paint off of surfaces if not removed carefully. Use a hairdryer and a lot more patience than I did.

It was a return, and the mount is flawed.
1. It came clearly returned. The ribbons were tied up in a strange way, and was minor brown staining on the lace. I was able to get it out and use it, because I sincerely don't want to go through returning something that isn't too bad. But it's not really acceptable. 2. The adhesive on the mount is pointless, since there is a small raised area where the hook connects to the plastic, sort of like this ___---___ So the adhesive doesn't stick well. In the end, I also ended up using different, longer, larger screws, since the ones that come with it fell off of the ceiling right after I drilled them in. To be fair, the stud finder was acting a bit weird, so maybe I messed up. I didn't have a problem with the hook itself, it holds the three ribbons that connect the tent perfectly fine. 3. The canopy itself has some stitching that isn't the best. The color is more of a dusty rather than baby pink. However. It is so darling and CUTE and everything else is almost forgivable. I draped it width-wise on my hemnes bed, and it really has a cozy, tent vibe. I think it definitely still has capacity to cover more area, so I think it could definitely fit a bed that's a bit larger as well. It also does have double layers as described. The top is a nice thick organza type fabric, while the inner is a soft, flowy cotton with a ruffle detail. 4. As an aside, the day I set it up I saw a carpet beetle larvae crawling on it. It was in that moment I realized just how much dust and bugs will be attracted to this thing. Especially if you add lights like I did. And if it's on the inside, there is no escape. You're roommates now. Just a thought for those deliberating. Update: I'm also not sure if the stitching on the ribbon/canopy connection will hold up over time. It's pretty stretched out from the weight. Overall, it's beautiful, but one star off for poorly thought out mount and longevity issues, and another star for it being a return. Edit: I don't want to get rid of stars because this review will ger buried. But like. I was sent a USED product at full price. Why was I so lenient?????

I'm satisfied with this purchase. It's large with a lot of material, so the price is fairly justified. It's not very apparent in the pictures, but the top of the canopy is indeed closed over with fabric. The ring which holds the canopy open is metallic. It's sort of like those pop-up tents which can be twisted to collapse in on itself and springs back into shape when released. The straps used to hang it are sewn into the seams and are sturdy enough to hold it, but I would imagine they may need some reinforcement over time under constant weight and tension. It would be easy enough to replace them with light chains (like for hanging plants) wrapping around the metal frame for a more secure installation. We wanted it to create a sort of private mediation/reading nook and it'll work nicely for that. The inner opaque material is thick enough to provide some privacy, but still allows enough light in that it's not overly isolating. I personally could have done without the frilly-edged lace outer layer, but I'm pretty sure I'm not the target demographic for such a thing. It would be easy enough to cut all that off if you just wanted the sheer inner layer, but it's not too noticeable in the black version. They ship it with some kind of big, white, ugly, plastic adhesive hook with two pieces of cheap foam double-sided tape that I can't imagine anyone would want to actually adhere to their ceilings. It would only end up ripping the paint off. It just makes me sad these folks feel they have to include such a thing since it only adds to the cost but will most likely get thrown away by the vast majority of customers. I'd recommend using an actual threaded hook into a rafter or a molly bolt/drywall anchor if it's something you plan to leave up for a long time.

I have had bed canopies for years, always the net ones. I’ve wanted a solid material one for a while but was unsure when I saw the price of this. But it is absolutely beautiful and very good quality. It’s worth what I paid. Another thing, it comes with a hook a plastic thing to screw into the ceiling. It’s a very heavy canopy and I don’t understand why some people are complaining that it won’t stay up because they are sticking it to the ceiling with an adhesive. It needs installing properly with screws.
