TaylorMade Project (a) Golf Balls (One Dozen)

I have spent this entire golf season testing out golf balls. I'm around a 7 handicap, 26 years old, fast swing speeds. There's no doubt that the top tier balls are still better, but I'm a budget golfer and sometimes I need 1 ball per round and other times I need 5. Callaway ChromeSoft are my favorite of the tour balls, so that will give you an indication of my review since I'm not looking for the closest substitute to the Prov V1. I tried Vice Pro, Taylormade Project A, Titleist NXT Tour, and Oncore Elixr. The Elixr was a close 2nd, but it's a little bit more expensive and my wedges scuff the cover pretty easily.Taylormade Project A. This ball felt soft of the club which is something I really like. Just a little bit softer than the other balls. The spin was what separated it above the rest of the balls for me. All of the balls except the NXT have a cast urethane cover, but this one generated the most stopping power of all of them.

I really like these golf balls. Until about 4 months ago I wouldn't have thought that a golf ball would have much effect on my game. Boy was I wrong! These Project A (the A stands for amateur) golf balls from TaylorMade have been an important part of my handicap coming down and my shots being more consistent. Yes, they're a tad on the expensive side but you get what you pay for.TaylorMade Project A golf balls get my vote for being a really decent golf ball. A side note: I buy the yellow ones so that I can see them on the course - greatest thing I've done!

These balls are a little harder than I expected and don’t spin as much as Premium ball. But is still a great ball.

I initially bought these balls because I have Taylormade-Adidas everything when it comes to golf. I wanted to complete the look and also try them out after reading magazine reviews and online articles. And I must say that I was blown away from the performance. The spin around the greens are phenomenal if you're using good wedges. They feel very soft off all clubs from driver to putter. I tend to hit a "natural" fade with my driver and these balls do not spin out of control like a ProV1(x) or Bridgestone B-Series (Although those are both fantastic.) I definitely recommend for the mid-handicapper, like myself, if you want more feel in a ball.

Should have just requested refund instead of replacement as 3 balls missing from initial order (sleeve box was empty). And now the replacement is apparently lost.

I was playing Srixon Z stars at $40.00 per dzn. I now play project (a)'s for $25 per dozen. No loss of distance or feel. Gained money in my pocket

I received a box of these balls in the mail. Still trying to figure out how I got them or who sent them. There was no promotional card or anything that would identify where they came from. I took them out on my next golf outing. Loved them. I purchased another 3 boxes from Amazon as I wanted to make sure I always had these with me. They are awesome off the tee. Wonderful around the greens. This is the only ball I now use. Exceptional product.

Impossible to go wrong with these Project A's. Decent price and awesome performance! I'm no pro so i need all the help I can get in all departments. These feel great, spin well, and are very durable.
