These worked on my 2008 Sierra 2500 HD work truck
Quick and easy. The hardest part was figuring out how to take the handle off to get to the latch bar. YouTube to the rescue. Had to search for a clear and accurate video though.These are advertised to only work up to 2007, but worked on my 2008.

Fit my 2006 Toyota Tundra
I broke a tailgate rod clip on my 2006 Toyota Tundra. After searching for a replacement online, I decided to give these a try because they also fit a 4mm diameter latch rod and looked similar to the original part. They snapped right into place.

Should have bought the handle cover at the same time
The plastic handle cover was super brittle and broke when I popped it out to install these wonderful clips. Ended up having to wait for an order for the handle cover. Highly recommend these, but also get a handle cover.

worked great
Worked great. But don't do what I did. I only replaced the broke one. Replace them both so you wont have the other break on you and then have to remove the trim piece that's held on by sticky foam pads. Just a hind-site that I should have done. Slide on the metal rod and then flip it up to clip on the bent section. If you don't have really strong hands, you will need some plyers to seat the clip into the hole. Install is very quick.
