Leaked all over the countertop. Bought it open box. Why would you sell one returned for leaking? Design is excellent, ordered another, hopefully it won’t leak.

The samavar is the right size, heats up water fast, maintains a great temperature and overall a good value. I had an older model before which lasted about 4 years.

This is a very nice samovar and we were very excited about the purchase and the service from the seller. But the problem started only couple of months after using it. The automatic switch that would bring water to boiling temperature stopped working properly. When we manually switch it on the whole unit start making very unusual noises like it was going to explode. Very disappointing German product. We send it back to the seller to fix it but the seller decided to refund us rather than fixing it. I guess the problem is not repairable and very common!

This is a great product. I use it all the time. The water boils fairly quickly. I wished it had auto shut off that you could set to turn off at certain time. Since we like to leave it on for hours to have hot water handy, sometime we forget to turn it off. I am not sure if it has auto shut off if it runs out of water or heats up. I haven't waited that far and couldn't find in the product detail. But if it is true, this is the only feature that is missing.
