The Simple Water Boost Micellar Facial Gel Wash is a gentle cleanser, a great find at a very small price (I bought it for $6 from Amazon). The ingredient list is not simple, but very clean (no irritants, no alcohol, no flagrance).The wash has a clear gel consistency, I need to use quite a big dollop to wash my skin; but at the price, I don't mind that I finish this fast. I don't know where the micellar cleansing bubbles are, might be invisible. But with those or not, it's a good cleanser as a second step. It makes a rather thick lather, not a foam. It rinses quick, without needing to insist with water.Being gentle is both the advantage and disadvantage of this product. It's very gentle that does not over-dry skin; I still apply toner and moisturizer afterwards, but I don't feel it strips my combination skin. The skin is left refreshed, supple and comfortable, but it does not moisturize or restore hydration.It's not the kind of cleanser you remove make-up with; it's not even a good cleanser if you wear just water ressistant SPF on your face during the day. But I'm double cleansing and this works great as the second step.I have sensitive eyes and some cleansers (even without irritants) sting my eyes; not this one.Still, if I were to choose a cleanser from Simple, I would choose the foaming one instead of this; still gentle, but cleanses better.

This is the perfect, gentle every day face wash. It has no fragrance and is non-irritating for sensitive skin or for those using actives. Great value for the price.

Although the ingredients list is far from simple to read, I do like this face wash. My skin is very dry and, in winter, tends to be a bit sensitive as well. I look for face washes that cater to fragile skin but that can get my face really clean and that's a hard combination for a face wash to fulfill. This Simple Water Boost Micellar Facial Gel Wash does a very good job of completely ridding my face of makeup and dirt but it doesn't leave my skin dry or tight. It is clear and has the consistency of a thin gel. It lathers somewhat, not tons but enough. It rinses off well with no residue. My face feels and IS clean. I used a cotton round and toner several times after washing my face with this and there wasn't a trace of leftover makeup or dirt. It can't get rid of waterproof mascara but it does remove the regular mascara and other eye makeup.I use a variety of face washes but I will repurchase this one when I need more. It's good to my skin. Whether it is good FOR my skin is a question I will have to try to answer. I plan to look up all the ingredients to make sure there's nothing really off the wall in the formula. For performance and price, I would go with 5 stars. I would prefer it to be more natural so I removed a star.

This facial cleanser is very gentle and does a great job! I have extremely sensitive skin and it has no negative effect on my skin but does clean well.

I don’t think they sell this in stores anymore. I’ve been buying (and searching) for this product for years now. It’s great on my dry skin. No scent. No scrubbing beads - which my husband doesn’t like about it. But I think it’s great. I went months to a year without being able to find it anywhere, including Amazon. One day I randomly stumbled across it again on here and bought a few at a time. Since then I’ve been able to keep finding it. Hopefully it was a Covid supply issue because this is great for any skin type. Very neutral.

If you have very sensitive skin, it won't irritate your skin so thats good but aside from that, it's pretty mediocre. Doesn't take makeup off that well. Doesn't help with acne. It won't dry you out but it's also not moisturizing. On the plus side, it doesn't have a scent.
