Consider these over cross trainer!
This shoe fits the three criteria I expect in a minimal shoe: wide toe box, zero heel, and minimal cushion!Initially I was going to purchase the cross trainer variant, primarily because ithad over 16000 reviews, and I generally tend to go after the most popular version. The sneaker variant has significantly less reviews. However, the main complaint I read on the cross trainer review was that the toe box wasn’t wide, even if the shoe offered the zero heel drop. So it wasn’t truly a barefoot shoe.I ended up buying these because they have a wide toe box! As you can see in photo, they look great, plenty of space for my toes. They have a great barefoot feel.Note: I’m still debating if I want to remove the inner sole from this shoe. A comment trend I read about the cross trainers was that the inner sole actually added a slight heel lift, so folks removed it. I haven’t read any reviews or seen evidence in the listing that the sneaker variant has a raise on its sole. If I find that to be the case, I may remove it.If you truly want that minimal shoe, I’ddefinitely recommend these over the cross trainer! Now granted, these aren’t running shoes, so if you need an athletic shoe, the cross trainer may be the better shoe. But just for everyday wear, you can’t beat these!

Good alternative.
I’ve been using the Xero Oswego’s for about three years now so I’m used to using “barefoot” shoes.Unfortunately the quality has gone down significantly since my first pair - the rubber sole just isn’t the same and, since I walk over 10 miles every single day (with a 14lbs pack) I’ve been buying new shoes three times in the last year. The middle of the sole is fine, it’s the edges and toes that can’t take the constant pounding.I decided to find a cheaper alternative and, almost a third of the price…these seemed like a good value for the money if they even last half as long.Just got back from a quick 6.3 miles, no issues so far.I’ll update this review once I’ve worn this first pair out with the total miles, how they do with a quick rinse in the sink vs laundry etc.As it stands right now though, can’t really tell the difference between these and the Oswego’s.👍EDIT: So I’ve been using these for two weeks straight now, managed to get 74.3 road miles on regular sidewalks and asphalt roads…lightweight HMG “Elevate 22” pack, just some water and a change of clothes really.Replaced the laces with the black Lock Laces and I’ve never had any socks with these shoes, not even once on accident.I’ve been taking good care of them, brushing them clean with a soft brush and spraying the inside & insoles with Lysol, so I could do a good evaluation of the wear etc.TLDR?I’m sticking with these bad boys and ditching my Oswego’s.Especially for the price I paid, it’s not even close…these ones win that race by a landslide.

Wide shoe (instead of just wide toe box)
Starting my journey towards minimalist shoes with zero drop sole. I am on my feet 8 to 9 hours for retail and these so far have been the best shoe. I have spent hundreds of dollars on shoes. Sketchers, Alturas, Abeo and more. This is my go to shoe now. I took out the liner I'm these and added an insole for added cushion. Will update if that improves the benefits of this shoe. I went with men's because my foot runs very wide. Another benefit for me is that the entire shoe is wide enough for my foot instead of just the toe box. My foot does not get narrow where most people's do.This is worth trying!! Planning on buying more!

Unmatched Comfort with a Size Consideration
I recently tried the WHITIN Men's Wide Minimalist Barefoot Sneakers, and while they provide an incredible barefoot experience, I must address a few size-related concerns.Let's start with the positives. These sneakers are designed for ultimate comfort and flexibility. The zero-drop sole promotes natural movement and proper alignment, allowing my feet to feel connected to the ground. The wide design accommodates a more natural foot shape, providing a liberating sensation during walks and workouts. However, I found that the toe box lacked sufficient room from the sole to the top. This slight limitation hindered the full freedom of movement I was hoping for. Additionally, I noticed that the sizing ran a little small, making the shoes feel slightly cramped.Despite these considerations, I must emphasize the positive aspects of these sneakers. The quality construction and materials are top-notch, and the overall design offers a unique minimalist experience. If you're considering the WHITIN Men's Wide Minimalist Barefoot Sneakers, I recommend sizing up and being aware of the snug fit. The unparalleled comfort and natural feel make these shoes worth a try, as long as you find the right size and ensure ample room for your toes to fully spread and relax.

Exceeded Expectationa
I purchased these shoes because I have been looking at minimalist shoes for some time and I wanted something comfortable to wear on my vacation. After three weeks and over 120 miles, I am amazed at how great my feet feel while wearing these shoes. At the end of a day of walking 7+ miles, my feet felt great. The shoes do not have a lot of cushion, but what they have is perfect. You feel every bump and stone, but there is no discomfort and you really feel connected to the ground. They are extremely light and I got several compliments on how they look. (Mine are dark grey with the gum sole) For the price, I think they are impossible to beat.

So comfy
I love these shoes. They feel like moccasins but with better protection and cushioning in the soles.

The best affordable shoe
These are great. Perfect barefoot transition shoe. I removed the insole to get even more ground feel. Not the most durable, but for the price, if it last longer than 6 months I think it’s a great deal. These get dirty quick.

Good quality barefoot shoe, takes some breaking in
Wearing these full time for 2 months now.Thin rubber sole is natural, can feel the ground well through them.Toe box width is good, could be a BIT wider but that could just be my flippers. The edges of the tongue rubbed a bit for the first few days. Not terribly uncomfortable. For the price these are a good barefoot shoe solution. Pretty durable and the material is nice. I wear them all the time.

Best affordable barefoot shoes
This is the best affordable model by far for this brand. Nice wide toe, truly think sole, laces that fits any high or low volume feet.I use them daily all day and not pain at all.I recommend to buy a size that let 1cm minimun between your toes and the shoes to allow your feet spread freely during the day.Excellent price/value.
