I recently purchased the Cosmic Byte Stratos Xenon Wireless Programmable Gamepad along with the Gamepad Dongle for PC, and I must say it has exceeded my expectations. It is a good controller, but recently its right trigger sensor kinda broke. When i opened it a chip or sensor came loose but its fixable. I kinda need to get it soldered to fix it. The great thing is Its flexibility. I have used it with my laptop, android phone and it also works with steam deck. Definitely buy the dongle. Since it is based on playstation 4 DS4 controller, so like the original PS4-5 controller you will require DS4 Windows app to make it work (For bluetooth and wired connection. Don't need it for dongle connection). Also in the end you will also require another software called HidHid (DS4Windows software creates a virtual controller so in some games it will add two players for each PS controller. So HidHid app disables one of them. So using a dongle will also mitigate that.) other caveats. 1. Play station uses Xinput whereas Xbox uses Dinput. So in games like FIFA i get vibration in only using Dinput. (This is when i am using the dongle). Earlier i was able to play FIFA 24 with bluetooth mode, Now it just wont detect it (Works with dongle though- It might also be because of the 4-5 software i installed to to get rid of the issues and make all controller- PS4, PS5, xbox 360, a redgear one and this one become compatible with different games and them also working together. You will find Xbox based controllers are more compatible with windows PC and generally need less effort to use it). 2. Dinput does not have Gyro function as it is used only in PS and Nintendo. 3. Using this controller alongside PS4 and PS5 controller. Sometimes 1 of the 3 controller just wont work. It gets annoying. So having a dongle (Dinput mode) will help a lot in this situation.

This console is soo good and it is the best alternative of ps4 controller. need to connect with macbook - you got it. need to connect with ios/android - you got it. need to connect with pc - you got it. I was also able to connect it to my window's laptop using bluetooth without purchasing the dongle (don't know how it came but i was simply trying and it got connected 🤯) the gaming experience is soo good plus the alternative programmable buttons are also great. there is absolutely no lag. i have been using these for more than a year and it works sooo well. the battery backup is also great. i can easily play for upto 2 weeks (2-3 hrs/day) which is about 30-40 hrs, i mean what else can you get. the response and the senstivity of the controller is also good. overall i am more than satisfied as a gamer 😎🙃

I bought this controller for 2.5K so my review would be based on the price which I paid for this controller. Build Quality is OK for the price In-Hand feel is OK (Plastic used on the controller is of Good Quality) RGB on the buttons gives it an Amazing look Haptics are Fine (Nothing Amazing) Battery easily lasts for a week for me. (I'm a Casual gamer and I have not been able to finish its battery reserves in one gaming session up until now) I've been using this controller for around a Month now. No issues observed up until now. The buttons are tactile the trackpad on the controller is only useful if you have a PS or else not much of use in a Windows PC/Laptop. Only con that I would like to highlight with this device is when you're using it wirelessly with your Windows device. Everytime you want to connect this device you'll have to pair it as a new device apart from this hassle there are no issues I have observed up untill now. Conclusion - At almost half the price of of an Official PS Controller it almost provides all the features (Trackpad, Pressure sensitive buttons, Gyroscope, PS Support, RGB) with the look of an X-box Controller. So for 2.5K this controller is completely justified. However, 2K would be much of an attractive price point.

The controller is good but i did not receive the cable with it , even it was mentioned on the box that it has cable

Tried to post review earlier but got declined so just putting a small review Pros - Good substitute for PS4 controller Works brilliantly across platforms Feels premium and hefty in hand Cons - No clear documentation whether it is hall effect or not Sometimes on Android gaming, using the left stick to move right touches the touchpad which makes a cursor appear on screen, slightly annoying If you can find Cosmic Byte Quantum in your area, go for it. It's a few hundred bucks more but it's much more value for money (especially if you're buying for PS4)

The controller in itself is so good. The back buttons definitely helps a lot while playing. If you're thinking about buying it for PlayStation 4 then just go for it. However, if you're a PC user and thinking about buying it to play on PC then there are a lot of things to consider. First of all, it doesn't come with its own Bluetooth receiver/dongle unlike other wireless controllers that are especially designed only to play on PC. So if your PC doesn't have any Bluetooth adapter in-build then you cannot connect it wirelessly. You have to either connect it using USB cable or buy a separate Bluetooth receiver that costs an extra 600 INR (for BT 5.0). Now, I'm using it on my laptop which has in-build Bluetooth adapter V4. 2. The problem arise when I'm also using wireless headphones with it which i assume mostly players use these days. If two wireless devices (this controller and headphone/speakers) are connected to your adapter then the controller faces a huge input delay and sometimes even crash the whole game. Steam games faces input delay while Epic game store games just crash and stops working. On top of that, it even interfere with the Wi-Fi connection and creates huge ping spikes sometimes. My solution for all this problem was to just not use wireless headphones or use controller in wired mode i.e via USB cable. The second problem is that in order to utilize full functionality of the controller (that is gyroscope sensor and touchpad sensor) you'll need to download and run DS4Windows in background all the time which isn't that big of a problem unless you're playing an online game because DS4Windows is a third party software and using it in background may get your account banned since that software remap keys and set macros which is against rules of many online games. The time i bought this controller, it was advertised to play on PC as well which is now removed. I wonder why! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ but in their manual they did mentioned that a lot of features of controller doesn't work on PC assuming that they're not using DS4Windows. Long story short, the controller is awesome for PS users and is awesome for PC users as well if you can compromise with some features. EDIT: So, i've bought a separate bluetooth V5.0 dongle/receiver and it solves the issue of input lag when using alongside with wireless headphones. Now i can use both the headphones and controller without any lag or game crash. But, is it worth the extra 600 INR? That's up to you.

I had bought this controller over a year ago, it has an issue called stick drift after 7 months of usage. As it was under warranty, I sent it to the cosmic byte showroom for repair. Their customer service was so nice that they sent me a new one. Now it has been 2 months since they gave me a new one. It has been flawless. I've had no problems till now and controller is actually way too good according to its price. For those who think you cant play fps games on this controller, let me clear that you can play them. It will take one week to adjust to it but you will see the improvement with it for sure. Overall I completely recommend buying this controller. Even on ps4 it works well and I highly recommend it.
