I am very impressed with how well these work! Yes, they are not perfect. However, for the price and ease of use, and how little room they take up in the freezer (I bought a mold that makes 3 large square cubes a while back and it has a huge outer styrofoam “box” to contain the mold. They cubes turn out beautifully but in the end I rarely use it because it takes up too much space in the freezer), they are great for everyday use! In the first batch I made, some of them separated in the middle when the ice expansion pushed the top and bottom parts apart, therefore creating a ring around the ice ball as you can see in the pic. I think if you make sure the surfaces connecting the top and bottom are dry before you fill with water using the funnel, then they will turn out much nicer. I also love that there is a fill line that shows you exactly how much water to put in so it doesn’t over flow cause any overflow would cause the ice to form in the neck on the top making it much more difficult to remove from the mold. P.S. I am an obsessive compulsive researcher before I buy anything. I bought this on my iPad when I was away from home, after having spent hours researching these things, as I hate to buy crap and just have it end up in a landfill. After I got home, I checked the listing using my laptop, which has fake guard installed to check how genuine reviews are and was surprised to see this product got an F. That’s what prompted me to write this review. Hopefully, more people will find this wonderful product that I find really cool. I paid full price on Amazon for this and have not been contacted by the manufacturer or received any discount or promotion.

I kept seeing these all over social media so I gave in. I used to use the black silicone ones that you filled from the top & closed... you know the ones. I hated them because you couldn't really see how full they were and they would leak. These are PERFECT! I have a PUR water filter on my kitchen sink so that makes filling these even easier. You just take the little top off, fill them to the line, then put them in the freezer. The best part is taking them out. SUPER EASY. As the instructions say let them sit for about 2 minutes after removing them from the freezer. Once you do that the silicone part peels right off, the ice ball pops out. I use these for everything. I have a BruMate 32oz mug that I use for iced tea, I put 2 of these in there and they last all day, all night. I loved these enough, I bought another set.

Easy to use, make sure both parts are together then put the water in from the top and place in the freezer. After it's frozen take out for about 2mins the remove the ice from the case. If u try to take the ball out right after u remove it from the freezer it's a little hard ro remove just let it sit out for 2 mins or so. Nice product

These ice makers are very cute and functional. The base and top is made of silicon and the top is made of hard plastic. Very easy to assemble and clean. When filling them follow the directions and put water up to the fill line because the ice did expand when it froze. I did created ice in these but I have not used the ice yet. So far I am pleased with the purchase

If you are looking for a "not so expensive' ice mold, we recommend these! They are easy to use and work very well! Highly recommend!

These were easy to set up, fill and freeze. No leaks. I wish they came with something to set them in while in the freezer. They do need to sit for a minute for the ice to release from the upper piece, but I'm pleased with my purchase.

Do not feel to the line go less because the first few times the cap popped off in the freezer during expansion and I had a hard time finding them it’s a tricky process to get the ice bowl out without it breaking and 99% of time as soon as you pour Lacore on them they break Not exactly as promised, but it makes an ice ball if you have patience and time

I've tried a few different ice ball makers these are the best I've found, also really inexpensive. The ice is always smooth and clear and I've only experienced weird air pockets once which makes me think maybe I under filled it. The balls fit perfectly into a standard pint glass or rocks glass so if that is what you are looking for these are perfect.

They are so functional and nice

functional as advertised ,it spills if you put it on it's silicon side so I just put it upside down on it's plastic side.
