Arrived on time. After a few teething problems of the sandpaper not sticking to the sanding plate and seeking advise from fellow purchasers I’m pleased to say this has now been resolved, so a big thank you for the advise given…I found this tool to be heavier than I thought it would be but am still able to use it one handed, the comfort handle is a bonus and softens the vibration of the sander when in use…the variable speeds gives you more choice on how much sanding is required and can be altered to suit your needs…an added bonus is the two plates that come with this sander, I had trouble changing the plate originally, the instructions were not very clear but now I know how to do it it is very easy to do…the only down side to this sander is the dust box, it is not easy to fit and does not catch much dust but apart from that it is a great little machine and I would recommend this to any DIY, even a novice like myself is able to use it so it’s a big 👍from me and a 5* rating

A good sander and easy to use

Bought as I have a few bits of furniture to sand/restore and my old B&D sander attachment is just too bulky. Just started on a small kiddy chair and althouugh I only intended a quick sand to repaint the unit, this has easily stripped old chalk paint back to the woodl so I may just wax it. Not the lightest or smallest device but easy to handle and got into most parts of the small chair. Has both "iron" shape and rectangle shape plates. Only one sand pad for each supplied but spares are cheap enough.

Good value,like that it can be a detail sander or sheet planer,works at good rate for required job so far ,can't comment on longevity as not had long.Brought to replace similar product.Update the hook and loop foam pad doesn't seem to last too long,need a replacement already after sanding just 11 kitchen doors

The Tough Master is a great, robust sander with the flexibility of two pads. It's easy and comfortable to hold, and has lots of power. The problem I have is with the additional sanding sheets that were promoted with it. They just don't stick to the sanding pad. Not sure if the problem lies with the sanding sheets or the velcro-style pad on the sander, probably the former. But it's very frustrating when the sanding sheets won't stick to the sander for more than a couple of minutes.

very good sander, there one problem, i could not get a adapter for a hoover, but tape sorted that out, paid it self after two jobs.
