Product arrived very quick and the hardware is sturdy. I will say I had to use tin snips to cut the lever prong insert as it was too long for my door width 1.5 inches and the piece isn’t perforated so you might need an extra set of hands. I cut the key length insert down so only two notches remained. I also taped the lever in place so I could line up the handles when screwing them together. Hope this helps someone.

I have a glass sliding door that I purchased years ago from Home Depot, with their door handle and latch. They no longer offer a replacement in stores or online. They purposely moved the mechanism off center by a half inch so their new handle won’t fit! Crazy but true. Yours was easy to replace and was $20 less than Home Depot’s that doesn’t fit. And, your’s has a lock which our old one didn’t have. I am thrilled! Also, it arrived at 9 AM when I ordered it at 2 PM yesterday. Unbelievable! Thank you.

Item includes an outside lock and and inside lock, but you can only use one or the other. There is only hole in the mortise to put a pin through. The inside lock handle does not connect to the outside locking mechanism, so if you use the inside lock handle, you cannot use the outside. The directions give completely opposite instructions on opposing pages. Even the height of the mortise was about 1cm larger than the description so it didn't fit into my door. Absolutely useless. I could not be more frusterated.

It fit perfectly. I didn’t install the lock portion cause I just wanted a handle. What a nice study one.

This is not a typical lock set you buy and install. You will need to make modifications to make it work.1. Provided screws are too short and couldn't connect inside and outside handle together. Has to find two longer screws.2. The pins inserted into the lock hole are needed to cut short. My old lock was nonfunctional and this one was the only one I could find to match the existing holes.3. The inside handle pin and outside lock pin are inserted to the same lock hole, it will be a challenge to cut them the right length and put into the lock hole. Therefore, I cut short the outside lock pin and the outside lock won't work (you won't be able to open the door with the key) , but you still be able to lock the door from inside.Hope this will help you make the right decision.

So I'm fine with the product for the money. However, the outside keyed lock cannot be used. If you line it up with the top hole of the inner assembly, the arm doesn't turn the lock. If you line it up with the lower hole of the inner assembly (the same height as the inner manual lock), you have to trim it perfectly to make an exact fit. Good luck with that! The instructions are not only unclear but in fact, incorrect. In a single assembly process chart, they show different assembly placements and the instructions look like they were copied about 237 times on a bad copier that was smudging and running out of ink. But, it fits the door and we can now lock it... albeit from the inside only. Only giving 3 stars for easy to lock because you can't even use the outside lock.
